"Food was ok but the atmosphere was so toxic and unpleasant. Staff was so nervous spreading anxiety to the guests and some of them giving very rude racial remarks to Asian guests I was with. In what world this is acceptable and appropriate to call...a Japanese guest “Kawasaki, eat faster”? Staff was so inpatient that I noticed my plate was taken away in the middle of the meal while I was busy talking with my guests! Apart from that, keep in mind this restaurant doesn’t have air cons so it’s damn hot inside during warm summer days. Omg, this place is not worth the price and I recommend staying away if you are bringing important guests! They won’t host you well here!!!"

Oh, my Gosh! What a Thermidor lobster! The pasta? Second to none. The lamb crown? To die for! We will come back here before leaving Cologne!

We absolutely love dining here. We have been several times, and it is always our top choice for special occasions. Food is outstanding. We love the homemade pasta. Fish, steak, scallops...all amazing! Highly recommend! Service very friendly. We will be back View menu

Witty and fun service in a nice setting, also a good outdoor area. Food was reasonably good though the vitello tonnato was a bit overcooked and the sauce was bland, compared to when this recipe is done correctly. Nice portion of rabbit leg, perfectly cooked,...just missed a stronger side on it

Da Damiano was originally Francesco’s. When we discovered Francesco’s had made way for Da Damiano we were disappointed. That disappointment was fleeting. Da Damiano is fantastic. It has the best tuna steak I have ever eaten and a gorgeous Pinot Grigio. The staff were very...friendly and engaging

This restaurant was recommended by our nearby hotel and proved an excellent find. Staff, all probably Italian were very welcoming. There is a tall movable menu taken from table to table in German. The owner translated the menu for us and the choices were from...a good Italian fine dining menu. The wine list was strong on Italian wines and not over priced. All in all a very enjoyable experience. Vielen Dank, molte grazie View menu

Ten of us booked Saturday the menu is handwritten on a chalk board, difficult to read and very limited only about dishes for each course! My gluten free friend asked for salmon and mash and was told the mash wasn’t suitable because...it contained gluten! Turns out it was packet mashed potato! At those prices! Lasagne Gorgonzola was exactly that those TWO ingredients and nothing else! Tasteless and boring. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone

A cold winter evening in Cologne then you enter the restaurant there is a buzz about the place, the atmosphere is warm is the greetings from the staff. Not a large menu which is detailed on a chalk board I had quail,...pasta and grated truffles as the main course venison. All cooked to perfection but the star of the show was the pasta truffles:good selection of wines attentive service and all of this is worth the price. A lovely evening with old colleagues. We will be back

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
