"the first impression was good. beautiful. that was okay. the service was okay. the waiter did not need the time to hear our needs. he cut us off to make suggestions that ended with really up selling their menu points. we wanted a simple pizza. with mozerella, basil and tomaten. that did not happen, but they brought us a pizza and a nasalate and placed the fresh cold mozerella and rucalla on a hot pizza. and for an salat and the pizza that was not clarified. we only knew that when we got our bill. although it is a good place, we will not visit again."

The food here was excellent and decently priced! The waitstaff was not very attentive, but they were kind enough to order a cab for us when we left.

Restaurant is nice, bit outdated furniture. Service was good. The food was ok not spectacular but then again the prices aren't that high. All in all I enjoyed the meal.

We ordered a rigatoni and spaghetti that were so tasty! The service was quite good in a real Italian way. The view for the Rhein river is amazing! The prices are fair enough.

this is a very solid Italian restaurant, right on the Rhine, with beautiful view, in summer, when you can sit outside. the traditional menu with good seafood and meat dishes. pasta and pizza are also very nice. they also have a seasonal map with changing order to mix it a bit. they can also accommodate smaller groups when booking before the time.

I am often here to enjoy fresh seafood and excellent pasta. they are immediately helpful and offer several possibilities for vegetarians for those who do not prefer seafood. always on taste and wish! Their mönchsfische, scallops and other seafood are always...fresh and so tasteful! Many thanks for always to go the extra mile to ensure that we all enjoy the atmosphere and our meal!

I've been at the restaurant in November 2014 (Italian cuisine). The weather was rather cold but atmosphere was warm and pleasant. I chose the fresh salad and fish. The cutting of the fish was like a performance, and the dish as it is was very...tasty – fresh and natural. The location is very special, on the bank of the river, but of course it is big advantage especially for warm seasons.

This little restaurant along the Rhine is a gem in Ludwigshafen. The restaurant is in a small building that shares space with a crew house. In warmer weather, it should be a lovey place to dine as there are many outdoor tables. Prices are very...reasonable and the food is excellent, especially the starters. I recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is rather small and popular. Excellent choice any time of year.

beautiful location right on the Rhine. beautiful interieur. friendly staff. the carpaccio and vitello tonato were good. the calf liver was soft in a beautiful sauce. the grilled otopus was quite chewing with tasteless rice. Excellent dessert: we had rest, crème...brûlée and ice for the children. the team was especially nice to our children, although they are very active. her pasta was tasty and was served quickly and before our food was ready- that made it very relaxing for us.

Located right on the Rhine River, the view is relaxing and interesting with all the boats passing by! The food was very good. Octopus salad was served warm and tender. For my main course, I ordered a rich, flavorful special boar meat ragu served...over wide pasta noodles. Delicious! Others were very happy with steaks, monk fish, and pasta. We all ordered desserts and everyone was happy with their choices tira misu, pannacotta were especially good. The service was attentive and respectful. I would go back!

"After a very long time we had to go to Sushi again. We still knew Kaoru, but in the old premises in Q, hidden behind a passage. For a few years the restaurant has been sitting on Goethestraße and has increased. Saturday afternoon, still reserved online. The form asks where to sit. Selected Sushibar. At last, we are here. Be welcomed and I mention the reservation. She points to the bar, but at the same time says that we can sit where we want. There was enough space everywhere. Probably she was watching our asking looks when we saw the sushibar. After all, we still had the bar with waterway in front of us....This was always the attraction of the Kaoru that the ships were on one way over and could be operated. There was also a bit of overash effect. We had experienced it before. All right, so we sat at the bar. With the back to the street and in front of us the chefs prepared eager sushi. The ingredients are behind curved glass. The cooks served, depending on what they needed. Something interesting. We got the menus. Sushi in several variants are available. Dessert. Beer. We took all warm Sake and Asahi beer. I tried the Rainbow Roll, 8 reels with tuna, salmon, cancer, white fish. The Maki Set and the Beginner Set were ordered. Price between 10 and 18.50 Euro. When ordering, I asked if there is no more waterway. Unfortunately no, she said, and regretted it very much. After the reasons, we didn't ask them. The drinks came to the place. The Sake was very warm. The sushi came very soon after, at the same time for everyone. It looked appetizing and actually like the picture on the map. It tasted good too, all right. The payment was then somewhat lengthy, because none of the services were to be seen or it appeared only briefly between the tables. It's been a little. A family came in when we left. The first question of the great son to serve: have you changed? He also missed the waterway...."
