"Got taken to this restaurant by our family who live very close by. Ristorante Ischia is a bit of a local to the family. We were very warmly welcomed by the owner, who was also very good with our kids. We were served pizza bread,...literally minutes within sitting down, which was very tasty. The menu was not too over complicated or pretentious- just exactly what youd expect from a family owned Italian restaurant. We were given many recommendations from our family, as well as the owner. I requested the Calamari, but unfortunately, it had run out, but the chef said that he would make me something special that wasn't on the menu, as I had a desire for seafood. The meal I received was divine. I was very happy and impressed. My wife had a salad, that was equally as good. Our kids were made a pizza that looked sublime. Our drinks kept flowing all through the night. I felt like I was sitting in an Italian town on the Riviera- such was the amazing night we had. After several rounds of aperitifs, we stumbled back to our families home, feeling very satisfied and happy. What a great night. The interior is simple but authentic. Id highly recommend this to anyone thinking about having some great, well priced Italian in Berlin"

The owner is totally unfriendly, he didn't even thank after being tipped, the service was a shock and although the food is good, we don't plan to go back . The restaurant could be a bit cleaner too

We had one of the best steaks we have had in Germany in this restaurant and the price might have been the lowest ever. Pizza was tasty and pasta portion generous with a lot of mushrooms. The atmosphere is very Berlin. A bit shabby, charming,...friendly, and warm. The focus is the food and friendliness, not the presentation

Where do I start! We found this Italian on trip advisor and I am so glad we did. Owner was very accommodating and helpful from the moment we arrived. He was happy to help us with choices and made us feel at home. Food was...delicious... the best pasta I have ever had... and believe me I am picky !!! The food and drink was cheap/ well priced especially for a city. I would definitely recommend. Once we finished our meal. Owner brought us some drinks on the house. Real Italian hospitality. Definitely worth a visit

What can you say when you find a little gem of a restaurant to eat at in a place you've never been to. Shabby Chic interior, no pretensions to be anything that it isn't, and looked after by a real Italian who just does it...at his own pace. Frequented by lots of local residents, and the provider of excellent food, cooked beautifully, with an easy going atmosphere and prices that are not shocking....fantastic value for money, a host who cares, and was insistent we had a thank you drop of grappo and limoncello after our visits on the week we were there. Well worth a visit...don't expect anything but a relaxing time and a generous host....

This is based off of when I ate here years ago, though I assume not much has changed since. I had to pick "June but it was obviously before that: I was a tourist from the Untied States at the time. Me of my friends had just arrived in Berlin, and we were desperately looking for a place to eat. That's when we we stumbled upon this place. Luckily for us, the people running the place [not sure if at the time or still currently] spoke English. The service was great, and the food was better. It was one of my favorite moments in my trip to this amazing city. One of my goals in life is to be able to eat at this restaurant again. I hope it's just as good as I left it

I went with some friends to eat in this restaurant in Berlin. The owner of the restaurant is an old Italian man very simpatico and very gentle. He loves speaking in Italian to let you feel the real Italian feel. The menù offers different choices. You can start with bruschette and antipasti misti. There are at least 10 first dishes and the same amount of pizze. The restaurant offers also second dishes, cow meet, chicken, and pork meet. The pizza was delicious and as an italian I can tell you that I felt the real taste of my land! The first dishes are abundant and full of taste.I suggest to drink the red vine Monte Pulciano and taste the linguine with salsa tartufata! The owner offered some limonc...
