"We made a large group booking weeks in advance. The restaurant was not prepared for it at all. I felt sorry for the staff working there. The waitress seemed empathetic, but the bar staff and the man who seemed to be the manager could not have cared less. We were served warm drinks and cold food. My coke was poured from a budget bottle behind the bar, which was crammed with empty cartons and bottles. The boys working behind the bar looked under-age. We waited about 2 hours for food. They ran out of ingredients and they seemed to use whatever they could find. My vegetarian pizza had courgettes, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, artichokes and jalapeños, which wasn't awful but was slightly strange."

The food was okay but my beer was warm, and when I told them they just put ice in it! Charged nearly 3 euro for a glass of tap water!

I can't understand why so many bad reviews. I have just eat here and it was a great meal. I had 4 types of food as menu iv costing only 8,5 euros and it was perfect. All 4 were very good. So I recommended it 100%. View menu

Literally just visited this restaraunt with a friend an I'm clueless to why everything is so negative. In 10mins we were served COLD beers and two huge pizzas, delicious and piping hot. Really shocked by the reviews on here.

€2.70 for a glass of tap water. My friends pizza was terrible and burnt. The burger was gick and didn't come with chips. Staff was very impolite and were reluctant to give us change. No interest in serving us. Very disappointing.

I went on a school trip to Munich. During our stay we had dinner there every night. Hardly anything was eadable. For a start, inside it absolutely stinks. The glasses stank of mould. The water they serve you is straight out of a tap. The pasta you get is totally overcooked. The tastiest dish I had was wienershnitzel, even that wasn't great. The only things that were tasty enought to eat were the chips. View menu

Amazing place for all kinds of food, great pasta, amazing pizza and even some curry dishes. Also amazing cocktails! We’ve been in Munich for 4 days and have eaten here 6 times already! The servers are super friendly and the service is quick and prompt. It’s an awesome family run business, a little secret corner restaurant right across from the a&o hostel! Absolutely love this place and will defiantly be back again!

Extensive menu that I allowed the friendly waitress to whittle down to my first ever Snitzel. Read pan fried veal in bread crumbs. Tasted like it had been sitting under UV heat for a week soaking in the chefs over zealous use of lemon. Chips similar. Sauce good. It's a fairly low level , one step above canteen, restaurant but charges a little excessively for its food and beers. Outdoor street seating as well. Busy with young people from across the street using the hostel. How they could afford these rip off prices is beyond me. €7 for a draught local beer.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
