Roast's Cafe - Menu

We just popped in to get take away coffee but the staff were so friendly and the coffee amongst the best we’ve had on our current road trip... definitely worth the stop.

We went for lunch on Sunday. There's a wide choice plus specials board. The staff are very good. As food is cooked to order our lunch took about 35 minutes but was worth waiting for. We'd go again.

We stopped here after 7 hours drive from London. The kids had special offers and we had lentil soup. If it can be a restaurant they mediate for the quality of soup and roast coffee should be proud.

Not the largest of garden centres, but by no means the smallest, for the keen horticulturist it's worth a visit when in the area, it has ample parking, knowledgeable staff, clean toilets, household finishings, cafe/restaurant.

We are quite local so are not new to this establishment. We often go in for a modest snack lunch but last Saturday we spied afternoon tea for two on the menu price £12 this turned out to be a bargain, substantial sandwiches petite cream scones, strawberry tarts and meringues.

We enjoyed a delicious snack at this restaurant, and it was excellent value for the price. I ordered a coffee and a generous slice of carrot cake, while my husband chose the club sandwich which was substantial and served with a tasty side salad. All for just over £10, it was a great deal and very flavorful.

We decided to stop by this restaurant on our way back from vacation. We both enjoyed the delicious homemade lentil soup, which was thick and flavorful. This was followed by fruit slices with a generous amount of fruit and crispy pastry. Everything was homemade and absolutely delightful. The menu offered a variety of options and the prices were reasonable.

The service at this restaurant was extremely lacking. There was no communication with the staff, and they showed no regard for customers with disabilities, as they were required to carry trays of hot coffees and soups themselves. Additionally, they were shouted at to collect their own food from the till area to the seating area. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Popped into this garden centre which is close to where I live and have frequented it a few times in the past.Fancied a snack lunch and was rewarded with an excellent choice especially if you want a toastie,sandwich,baked potato, etc but other main type of meals available.It was around one o'clock and there were 20+ people already in so a bit of a buzz about the place.Had the tuna/mayo toast with and very good cup of coffee and have no complaints. Their senior citizen deal between 12-4 looks extremely good value so perhaps have this another day.
