Excellent. Great atmosphere, extensive menu, exceptionally delicious food.love going there.

Went for my sisters birthday lunch and the staff and service were 1st class. Such a welcoming atmosphere and the food was yummy.

Held up in the area and stumbled upon this pub. Fantastic food, beer, and service. We loved it so much we went twice! Beautiful setting as well.

Visited a couple of times after re opening, it's a great country pub. A couple of our party are celiac and they were well catered for. Food was excellent, if actually slightly too large portions of meat!

Nice pub. Warm and friendly. Didn't have any food so can't rate that. Relaxing place for a drink. Had a local feel to it with all the regulars but it was just as welcoming to newbies like us who were passing through.

Visited on 3/5 for a friend's wedding breakfast and I cannot express enough how good an experience it was. The manager and staff were so attentive, the food was delicious and the room they laid up looked amazing. I'm not local to the area but I will most definitely be back 10/10

Another lovely meal at our favourite place with impeccable service by Charlotte and the team. Food is always amazing and staff so friendly and welcoming. That’s why we keep going back and make the 25 minute car journey there when we could eat more locally. Thank you for another great experience.

My husband and I got married at Alton Registry Office and had a meal for 33 of us here at the Rose Crown. Oh my, Charlotte and her team were absolutely amazing; nothing was too much trouble. Our two meals were brought out first, quickly followed by the children and even one picky child got theirs changed at the last minute! We had photos in the garden, desserts followed seamlessly and every single person with us mentioned how amazing the team did. Thank you so so much, our day was perfect!!!

Booked last minute on a Sunday for a family of 5 and our 1 year old! Arrived and table all set for us with high hair provided. Great choice on the menu, 4 of us went for the roast beef and 1 of us the burger along with prawns, ribs and garlic bread for starter! Well to say the food was nice would not do it justice! The food was delicious, full of flavour and great portion sizes. By far THE BEST roast dinner we have ever had out! The beef was cooked to perfection! The staff were so professional and welcoming and we will definitely return! Outside area looked lovely also so definitely now on our list for drinks in the sunshine soon!
