"Arrived and asked if food available told yes so ordered a bottle of wine and waited at the table for someone to take order, 15 min later after asking if order would be taken twice still waiting then we were told only one chef and several table's still waiting to take order we decided enough was enough. Paid for wine £19 .50 WOULD NOT HAVE ORDERED WINE IF TOLD OF LONG DELAY EARLIER) SO went to the white Hart Inn ."

"We recently visited The Hangout after reading other reviews and we were not let down. The food was of great quality, with options for vegetarians, vegans, and those avoiding gluten and dairy. I forgot to mention my need for gluten-free and my plate was quickly replaced with a gluten-free alternative, all done with a smile and great efficiency. It was a wonderful dining experience and we will definitely be returning."

"We got married there on 27th of July. Lovely place. Really nice and clean rooms. Amazing bathroom! Great communication with them throughout email. Tasty food. Good service. The only thing that really upset me was that they broke our wedding cake topper that I personally bring the night before and asked lady from the reception should I leave it with them or bring it the next day as I don’t want anyone to break it. She said she will leave a note and put it safe but yet the next day it was broken and other lady who bring it with the cake just put the pieces next to the cake and when I said it’s broken she said “oh is it?” And that’s it. We used a tape to put them pieces together but let me tell you it’s not something you wanna worry about on your wedding day."

"As always called in on our recent visit to our static caravan in Llanwrda. We had our young Labrador with us as usual and were all made very welcome Brian as always found time for a chat when he returned from his deliveries,indeed next day we followed him to Llanwrda. I have always been a sucker for the chicken curry and this time was surprised to notice that the recipe had been changed as it looked very different the waitress confirmed there were two chefs and that the recipe had been changed. My wife had a ham and cheese toastie which she said was very nice. Two pots of tea gave a little over 2 cups each. Just a very brief word on the curry it was very tasty and had large chunks of chicken but sadly I preferred the old recipe as always proper chips, not frozen, piping hot and on this occasion we ate alone, very rare. Still miss the Cottage under Brian's ownership but Gwlli has been a good alternative for us on our, fairly, regular visits to the area"

"I called in for some quick coffees here while driving through and could not be more impressed by the staff. Although we had arrived before the store is actually open for business, the staff while prepping to open, noticed us and very kindly offered to get us coffees. Not a service I have got anywhere recently. They were polite, welcoming and prompt with the coffees, and we were on our way again. The beverages were good, my partner particularly liked the Americano. A little politeness and kindness goes a long way! If I could I would leave six stars for the staff here. Food: 5 Service: 5"
