"For the record...this is my first yelp review. My wife and I were on a trip to week long trip to Italy and came upon this place after dinner on our last night in Venice. The guy working at this place was the biggest a$$hole I 've ever met. First, I ask him if I can use the restroom which I can see how that could annoy him since tourist try to use the restroom without buying something, however, we come back fully intending to buy something. Then, my wife asked if she could try a flavor of galleto and he rudely Interrupts the other worker saying we have to pay for each sample (which is not common practice and is not their policy to begin with so he 100% made this up). After we both order 2 cones, he proceeds to tell us that they do not accept cards (which they do and is a complete lie). After I tell him off and say I don 't have an Euros left, he charges me the exact amount of euros I told him I have..(shady to say the least). Again, I am not your typical yelper who gets on here to complain about petty things that occurred during a visit, but this man provided the worst service I have ever received in my life and I am glad I didn 't throw my gelato in his face. I wouldn 't recommend this place to my worst enemy."

We ordered vegetable soup, sea food risotto, and spaghetti nero and all of them were bad! Didn't like anything, risotto was salty!

Service as cold as their ice cream. Some of the best ice cream I've had in Italy, however this is coupled with some of the rudest service. Still would go back for takeaway ice cream.

Amidst so many expensive places and/or tourist traps, this place keeps serving good food at fair price. Their spaghetti alle vongole are great and the house white perfectly refreshing. Good service.

Ugh this pains me to write. We came to Venice and was expecting the most delicious food and unfortunately we did not find it. Granted venice is known for the sea food but I was still expecting better than American food and it was just so disappointing. It wasn't disgusting but it was just OK, this place has a really good location and the staff is super friendly which is why I'm giving the 2 stars but the food really needed salt. It just wasn't satisfying. Unfortunately.
