A hidden, culinary gem offering delicious food with a stilish Mediterranean touch. The restaurant is located in the basement of a private club. Fortunately the lack of natural light and the frugal simplicity of the venue are well compensated by the value of the kitchen.

I visited this restaurant for a special occasion, and it definitely lived up to the experience. Every dish we ordered was not only beautifully presented but also tasted as good as it looked. The basil-infused panna cotta was the highlight for me: it had delicate aromas with a hint of sweetness. Our waiter was very attentive while still being unobtrusive.

We chose to have dinner at a restaurant near the theater for its convenience to the Garrick. The food was enjoyable, and there was a nice, cellar-like atmosphere to the dining experience. However, even with the street address, we had to ask a few people for directions because there were no signs at the entrance and we never saw the number, if it even existed. The staff seemed to suggest that this lack of visibility was part of the charm, but I wasn't impressed.

We went out for dinner before heading to the theater, as the location is very convenient to the Garrick. The food was enjoyable, and the restaurant had a nice cellar-like atmosphere. The greeter mentioned this was part of the charm, but I wasn't really impressed by that.

The food and wine were excellent. However, the atmosphere felt more like a funeral home. I would recommend changing the music to create a more lively vibe, and it would be ideal to group diners together if possible. The lower dining room was quite empty! Luckily, our group of six brought some life to the place, but it still left us feeling a bit lacking. On the bright side, the dining experience on the other side was fantastic! It may not be cheap, but it was certainly enjoyable. View menu
