"we had a friendly reception in an empty restaurant around 18 o'clock. the menu was short and not overly complicated, similar to the restaurant itself. on the drink front, not many possibilities for people who are not imbibe alcohol. was thrilled by wild boar on the menu, an old family lover. not a fan of the picking in the rule, the picked makrelenstarter was nicely subtle without the hardness of excessive acid. the taste of the makrele came full in every silky mouth. octopus carpaccio was not chewing and well seasoned. the starters have dedicated themselves well for the main thing. the seaweed of my colleague looked like a perfectly fried piece of fish when it arrived. judge on eating perfectly boiled with crispy skin and delicate meat. served with the side of the mushrooms and the charcoal. the grieving of wild boar was not disappointing and moist. similar to the duck breast. small amount of Chinese cabbage on the side was a perfect companion. there was really no need to order additional pages. what was served was quite sufficient. there were 5 of us and the net all came in good time without too much of one waiting for each diner to get their plate sins of a well oiled machine. cooking is very good for a device that is low key, occasionally and not excessively pompous. we were all too full (post christmas) to try the desserts. maybe next time! on a last note, all tables were full until the time we left."

great food and great menu! I had to start the hammock, filet for pornstars and the cheeseboard. the only part was that we were thrown out for another table and it would have been nice to take more time to finish my wein

salut! has raised the bar for restaurants in north london. the opposite is already fully served by large restaurants modern European cuisine, but this intimate culinary experience comforts all others, regularly book from all week.

Brilliant local spot, one of the best restaurants we've been to in London. Had the chicken breast which was succulent, crispy skin and all round outstanding. Chocolate ganache was rich and decadent. Decent wine menu as well. Defo 10/10

Salut! is for those who seek comfort and pleasure in food. Cooked from the heart and lifting everyday worries from the soul. Chef Fabrizio knows his flavours. My favourite two dishes, Polenta Gnocchis and as a dessert, Passionfruit Curd. Truly magnificent!

This was such a lovely experience. Elegant. Superb service. Utterly delicious food. Relaxed and welcoming. All those should be a given at any business in the hospitality trade. Sadly so rare these days to find even one of those elements. I warmly recommend. And I am very difficult to please!

Got to say, though It's not located on the sexiest street, the owners have done extremely well to make up for this. Inside is super romantic and cute. Went with my sister last evening for celebrations and honestly wonderful service with fabulous food and wine! The kitchen is open plan and the food is done with pure love. You will taste and see for yourself. Don't be put off by the outdoor main street. TOTALLY AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

had a wonderful dinner on Saturday night, the place was busy but not too loud. the service was very attentive and eating was definitely impressed! the broccoli steak was perfectly spiced and the spatula was simply boiled properly. would have loved the tiramisu to finish it, all from the creative presentation, would simply have wished a stronger coffee taste, it was a bit too creamy. I still cleaned the plate. the open kitchen was fascinating, but my clothes smell not after the visit, which was also great!

Starters of trout and steak tartare were nice but both a little bland looked very pretty on the plate though. Mains of rabbit and cod, rabbit's texture was a bit odd my wife reckoned it had had rather too long in a sous vide before it was cooked. Cod was very good. We shared a chocolate thing which was fine, not dark enough or rich enough for my taste and it came with a salted caramel ice cream which was almost tasteless. Everything was presented extremely carefully and prettilly and the service was excellent. With a bottle of the cheapest wine and two espressos the bill was £150 not really worth that much money in our opinion.
