If you're looking for delicious Italian food, then this is the place. The host, who is also the owner of the restaurant, was extremely helpful. We loved the cozy atmosphere and ambiance. Bresaola and Caprese for starters, pizza for main, and Tiramasu for dessert. We...were NOT Disappointed. We are definetely going back

This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide as a great chance to take a break from German food and really indulge in some authentic Italian cuisine. He warned us the restaurant was small and food took its time coming out. He wasn't wrong about...the wait or how wonderful the food was. We had some simple and classic to us Italian red sauce dishes with pasta. The sauce had a buttery richness to it that we weren't used to from the US Northeastern Italian restaurants, and it was delicious. They had some good house Italian red wine and the decor was warm and inviting. The wait staff was generally very nice but also very busy. For a warm Saturday night, we couldn't figure out how this place wasn't packed! The food was so good, the service was friendly, and they opened the outdoor wall, so there was a nice breeze from outside. We think it must be familyrun by Italians... they were so warm and inviting, and spoke Italian to a couple of the other tables. Also good English no trouble with understanding them, and the waitress helped with the menu. I had the housemade, spinachstuffed tortelloni they were HUGE and piping hot in a cream sauce to die for. I also had the house salad that came with a bottle of housemade creamy dressing delicious and light. My colleague had the Pizza Della Casa with ham and eggplant. ....Agai...

Read the great reviews and went looking forward to our pizzas. Unfortunately, the whole experience left much to be desired. The service was casual and slow while the restaurant was almost empty and when it became full, the only woman serving was chaotic but did...get very best. Our pizzas took forever to arrive even though we were early and only the third couple to arrive. My Margarita pizza was meant to be thin and crispy with some extra cheese but it was soft and doughy with so much cheese that it was impossible to enjoy. On the street behind the Crowne Plaza, Bahnhofstrasse, there are several restaurants of merit. I tried one of the Italian ones first. For a Thursday night, the pace was very crowded, and although I was quickly seated, it was apparent the restaurant didn’t have enough...help for the large number of diners. My waitperson apologized, and fortunately, his experience compensated for much of the wait. I asked for a pasta without meat or a cream sauce and he suggested the spaghetti with seafood..
