"I had Focaccia sandwich which was not bad, a little too oily for my taste but flavours were nice. Due to Christmas they didn 't operate from normal menu so not all vegan options were available but staff was accommodative and made some food for us. Juices were fresh and lovely. Menu is in german not aware if English version is available, I would always double check with the staff if something is vegan and make them aware you only want vegan stuff as we found some of the staff was not as in-tune to the whole thing of not eating meat ... trust is good, control is better!"

"Das Essen ist gut gekocht und die Sauce sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Das Menü Rehgeschnetzeltes mit Rotkraut, Maroni, hausgemachten Spätzli ist zu empfehlen. Das Rotkraut war ein klein wenig zu sauer, was aber dem positiven Gesamteindruck nichts negatives anhaben kann. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aufgestellt und auch zu einem Spässchen aufgelegt. In Davos ist das Restaurant eines der besten für gutbürgerliche Küche. Das Wildfleisch stammt mehrheitlich aus der Schweiz oder Österreich. Das Ambiente ist urchig und heimeilig. Ich kann dieses Restaurant gerne weiter empfehlen."

"The two of us came in, saw the sign with the daily menu and the bottom two lines “Pulled Pork Burger, CHF 24.50”. That's what we wanted and that's what we ordered. Then came a planted story with a lot of salad (I haven't appreciated Chabis for the last fifty years, and I still don't today). The taste of the planted thing was okay (hence two stars for the food), but I was quite disappointed I was expecting something different. Imagine if it were the other way around. It says “Planted Vegi Burger” and it contains pork, beef, chicken, fish or something like that. A drama with a reader reporter in a well known newspaper! It's also comparable if, for example, I buy a jacket with down lining and it is filled with cotton wool instead. Commonly you would say... (everyone can think of a word here). Dear restaurant, please write down everything you deliver. Today just left out the chicken and pork, as neither was included. It shouldn't be called schnitzel or anything else (for another time), plant based dishes should have their own terminology. Here it would simply have been called “planted curry kebab pulled burger”. It would have been at least as perfect a fit. And last but not least: a pulled beef/pork burger on your menu would be really great!"

Sehr gut gefallen hat uns das leckere Frühstücksbüffet mit der Saftmaschine. Es lassen sich einfach frische Gemüse und Fruchtsäfte machen. Der Spa Bereich hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Vor dem zu Bett gehen lohnt sich ein Besuch in der Bar mit live Piano Musik. Wir werden wieder kommen!"

"Excellent « mountain style » restaurant on top Schatzalp. The team was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant offers a lot of traditional meal like soup and rösti... and last but not least has a fantastic selection of home made cakes!!!"
