"A small hidden culinary treasure in Bergheim. Looking for an alternative to the popular restaurants in the area, we were bumped into the Schumacher by chance and received very friendly. A great compilation in the menu as well as seasonal daily menu have delighted us, as well as the extremely friendly service. Favourite restaurant!!! Gourmet local with fair prices, super service, top cuisine (only regional, fresh ingredients) and excellent wines. There is always a very pleasant, charming and unobstructed atmosphere. There is also a beautiful terrace for the warmer days. Absolutely recommended!!!

It has been a pleasure to explore this restaurant in this small city nearby Cologne. For sure a very good choice to take the sole: extraordinary delicious! Moreover also the service and the environment was exquisite so that we spent a wonderful evening surrounded by very nice people. Only the entrance with the air trap needs some improvements to protect the guests from the cold wind outside.
