"We had a doctor's appointment. There it was possible to make a detour to Hohwacht. Hohwacht is a beautiful, elongated coastal town, beautiful beach, quiet, promenade and of course also restaurants. Everything radiates calm and relaxation. Especially we noticed. (Compared to our home of Fehmarn) Large, centrally located parking spaces. Parking fee for the whole day: 3,00€. I can park here at home for an hour. And that's why it makes fun because the time pressure is missing. From the parking lot to the sea about 100 meters. To the restaurant of our choice about 50 meters. “Seaside” restaurant? Let's say, an upscale snack. Nice beer garden. Missing trees replaced by large screens. interior slightly raised device. Toilets accessible. Operation? Two ladies, but something of professional kindness you like to sit here. Menu on average. Also prices. Various beers on offer. We tried: Crew Drunken Sailor. 0.3 to 3,50€ Well, I'm not a big beer drinker, but it was delicious. A little light acid taste in the background. I wouldn't take it for a rot, but, like today on a hot day, just the right thing. My Lucie wanted once again a “Schwäbische Cheesespätzle” with salad at 12,90€ according to your statement Super. Onions would be nicely roasted. She wouldn't get it. And she can cook! I was on fish again. For a long time. „Kutterscholle“ Normal size. Nice bacon cube on top, potatoes extra and a salad. Costs: 19,80€ Here too a very local price. Let's start with the two side-salats. For me, something too much slurry balls. Otherwise in the amount very manageable. The dressing was top. Oil and vinegar. Very well tasted. I could have been drinking. You saw it again. Simple and solid is always the best, not all this new-fashioned buck in the food. I would have liked some butter for the potatoes. The plaice itself? As expected. Up to the panade (pamp) on the top. I couldn't have done it. Well, basically I can only recommend the restaurant. No dress code, bicycles in sight, dogs no problem, disabled also not. Should we come to Hohwacht again, why not?"
