"Booked up last minute. Good decision. No licence but there is a corner shop three doors away which sells wine late. No corkage. Good service, very friendly. Nicely furnished, extremely clean and good table linen Very long menu (probably too long) with numerous specialities and also dishes grouped from mild to hot/spicy. One dish particularly stood out. Incredibly bright (almost luminous beetroot red tikka masala (chef speciality). This is apparently a totally natural spice/colouring no artificial colour. It also tasted wonderful with loads of cashew nuts and almonds. If anything all dishes could have done with extra chilli but we did not choose hot ones Very good overall and incredible value for money. The bottle of wine from the nearby shop needs to be added to a bill for which included (for three people x litre bottles of Highland Spring, poppadums with chutneys (very good), three starters, three main course dishes including two chef's specialities, one with king prawns, x garlic nan, mushroom bhaji and two portions of pilau rice. Actually too much to eat. All seemed freshly cooked. All halal meat. Good quality chicken. Prawns and king prawns were not as largfe or good as I like but that's the only criticism"
