"We recently used this pub for our touring tent displays and ate at the pub every night. The pub is spacious with extended bar areas, especially welcoming to dogs. We appreciated the special treatment for our Weimaraner, Bella, who had her own table. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, with generous portions. Our favorites were the Guinness and steak pie, fish and chips, and green Thai curry. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and served with a smile, no matter how busy the staff was. The camping site was convenient to use, with easy access for caravans and large pitches for tents, some with electric hook-ups. The only downside was the lack of showers, but facilities could be accessed through the pub. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be returning soon."

Had a lovely meal there last night and enjoyed the sun in the beer garden. Staff were very helpful and attentive and even enjoyed some of your fresh duck eggs for breakfast at the local campsite!

I live this pub. it is a short walk away from our caravan. they make the best guinness and steak pee ever. huge portions. really friendly staff and very helpful. the unicorn beer of robinsons is very moorish. a little too magical if something.

Once again we made a point of stopping off here for the night, in the Motorhome. 5 times in 9 months now. At only £13 per night all in, you can't fault it. The gammon , chips and all that came with it was absolutely delicious, and the apple pie custard to finish. Every time, the food is spot on and the warm and friendly welcome from the staff just makes it a very nice touch to everything.

Today, we were turned away from The Plow after visiting a nearby pub because we had an 8-year-old with us, despite having made a reservation. However, this turned out to be their loss and our gain, as the staff at The Shrewsbury Arms were incredibly welcoming and impressed us greatly. The service was fantastic and the roast dinner was delicious. Thanks to them, our Sunday afternoon was saved.

"I booked a table for 2 really last minute on a busy December night, piccolio’s manger cosimo took the booking, he was so friendly and helpful that we really needed after a hard work in the cold winter weather! we went in and the restaurants that were breathtaking have woken us! the decor is stylish and above all it was so warm and cozy what we needed, we were greeted with smiles all around by every worker and was immediately taken on our table, without waiting time what ever! we were so swollen! Shortly after we sat, we tamara welcomed them beautiful, well presented and extremely polite. we thought up the menu, while tamara served us the most delicious Rosè Prosecco and took our orders. it was a hard choice, as we wanted to order one of all, the menu choices sound exquisite! so much choice and catering for all food requirements. my own and my friend decided to go for the spaghetti frutti di mare, which was absolutely inconceivable! muddle, mush and calamari topped with a huge garlic king prawn! it didn't take long until there were two empty teller and full bell! we stayed and talked together about the life and there was no hurry to move us from table to tamara has checked us we were so glad to have chosen piccolino chester for our girly dinner date and just wanted to say a massive thank you to cosimo, tamara and the piccolino team. I can't wait to come back to another fantastic evening."
