"I left the restaurant and back to the hotel. we were almost accused for the other table of 8 people and our table of 3 people. fortunately, we checked the bill and found out that we were charged for the appeal because of the waitress. the waitress said the machine made a mistake and seemed like it wasn't a big thing at all. How can technology add 2 bills together? there are 2 separate tabs and bills. After I rejuvenated them, the kitchen helper came and he explained he had no warning because he was only working in the kitchen. then finally the owner? or the chief on the curse? (one of us saw that the waitress had already spoken to her when we complained) came to our table and apologised while she ordered the waitress to bring the other tables to other customers. it seemed like she was not sincerely apologised and she was just trying to get away from this situation quickly and her attention is to bring more customers/revenue. the food was excellent and I enjoyed it very much. it's one of the best Japanese to eat in the country. I understand it's Friday night. we are kind of customers who want to eat quickly and go early. we are very satisfied customers. I saw they rushed to serve. a big group was said they had only 2 hours to enjoy. it is a kind of use in japan, I don't know whether it is in Germany. we got no limits of the time of stay. they don't care because we're the only customers for the first time. (actually not.) I understand that we all make a mistake, but the way they treated the situation is not professional at all with care and sincerity. Yeah, I'm very upset. if they are not native or the bill is on their business, please check their bill before they sign up, especially if they see that a large group at the same hour dining room."

A quite family atmosphere. I think they make their Soba in house. A big choice of Soba. Not cheap but eat like in Japan.

Been here for couple times. The quality and taste is never fails me Services are always very good and nice. The only thing is the place is just too small for their tasty food, so you better have reservations .

Excellent Japanese restaurant and so interesting to see the buckwheat noodles made fresh on the premises in full view of diners. I enjoyed an excellent gluten free meal and had some great saki into the bargin. Good value. View menu

I did not expect to find so many Japanese restaurants in düsseldorf, but I obviously landed in the Japanese district dussrldorf. the restaurant was filled with most Asian customers. my soba nudels tasted delicious and the device was nice. I'd like to come back!

it is quite loud and the place looks simple, so I can not recommend it for a candlelight dinner but the noodles were delicious, we have tried both cold and warm versions. krispy tempura and rice with salmon were also not bad. the service was fast but easy...automatic

We stopped here for lunch on the final full day of our city break. There is a big Japanese population in Düsseldorf so it’s like the second cuisine there. We were really impressed with this restaurant. I had an amazing Japanese curry and my boyfriend...had a noodle dish. There were lots of Japanese people in there which was a good sign and the food and way it was served seemed very authentic. Do try the Japanese food here if you are in Düsseldorf! View menu

I've lived in Tokyo, and now in the San Francisco Bay Area and Soba An has the best soba I've ever had. You can tell the soba is house-made, and all the ingredients were super fresh. We tried three kinds of cold soba as it...was a hot day: with tempura; with mushrooms; and with ginger. All three were fabulous. And as an appetizer we ordered tamago (egg omelet) which was so fluffy and well seasoned that we didn't even opt for soy sauce. Highly recommend if you are in Dusseldorf and want some delicious authentic Japanese.

I'm a little conflicted between a 3/5 or 4/5 rating. The housemade soba noodles themselves are good here, and the soba dishes are reasonably priced, with most ranging from 10-16 EUR. However, the rest of the dish isn't necessarily as good as the noodles. The...cold soba with lemon and myouga ginger was delicious and refreshing I definitely recommend this dish during the summer. On the other hand, the warm soba with scrambled eggs in hot noodle soup was too salty and not very enjoyable. Also, while the soba is reasonably priced, the appetizers are a bit pricey, and the herring app we tried was just ok. Service is very polite, and our server spoke fluent German, Japanese, and English. There's...
