"Ordered lamb biryani and brinjal dish. Both very good quality and good portion size. You get a free vegetable curry with the Biriyani but an improvement would be if they offered an alternative, as veg curry is not good. Was 15mins late but not be an issue provided I get a message that food has left restaurant. Then I know how long it will be. Otherwise, not sure if it will be early, on time or late. Maybe something they can do in future."

The Garlci chilli chicken just needed a bit more salt but the Keema was perfect.

The food I received was very poor standard considering I have ordered from here numerous times before. It arrived cold and quality was very disappointing

Never had a bad order from here. Food is top quality at very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and always on time. Ordered from here so many times and honestly never had a bad word to say. 5*

Has Spice Magic got a new chef? Has been our favourite Indian for many years despite the extremely long wait for deliveries but the food today was awful! Very bland, bad consistency, tough meat. Very disappointed so won’t be ordering from here again

Nothing hugely wrong with Spice Magic but the staff are all a bit terse and seem annoyed with customers. Their Wednesday banquet deal is good value but beware of the small print (not everyone gets a side dish even though it's advertised as such and the food is average but by no means great.

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
