Sport-Hotel Victoria

Unassuming good eatery, varied menu, ranging from fondue to pasta, fish and meat, salads and sandwiches. My 3 star rating is maybe a little unfair but no one will be disappointed at Victoria.

The food here is exceptional, both quality and size of portions. This is a restaurant that I will visit again. It sets you up for the day. Very reasonably priced. Warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Had a very average pizza here made worse when noticed around a third of the pizza base was undercooked. Never seen that before. When I flagged it to the manager, they took my complaint personally and were offhand with me. I don’t know why.

While the hotel location is excellent cannot say the smae about the owners and staff.rude ,abusive and extremely agressive towards us. Would nevwr visit the place again nor recommend any south asian family fo stay here unless they wish to be harradsed and made ro feel threatened

Pizza and beer for lunch in a sidewalk cafe in Gstaad. What's not to love? It's expensive, like all of Switzerland, but in comparison, this is a good deal. The pizza and the people were both wonderful. The restaurant was busy but the service and the food delivery was very prompt. If you'll pay, I'll go back tomorrow.

Looking for a pizzeria in the area we ended up there. Pizza was average. Service was friendly and Italian speaking. But this was probably my most expensive water experience ever: CHF 9 for a bottle of still water and shocked to discover on the bill that I was billed CHF 4.50 for “Gstaadwasser” (tap water) even though we had wine and a full two course dinner... Will definitely not visit again !

We had hired an apartment in Gstaad and decided after a long day to get a takeaway, we ordered a pizza, salad and a rosti, get back to the apartment we found that the rosti was not cooked, in fact it looked awful, if you cant get a proper rosti in Switzerland where can you get one, anyhow the pizza was average and so was the salad, next day we took the rosti back only to be told that we should have brought it back straight away, if we had that would have meant everything else would have got cold, no offer of a replacement or refund was given. the price for the tree items was sky high, we wont be going back there again.

The most attentive and proactive service team. casually changing languages from German to French to English to Italian and then to Spanish to accomadate all Guests. So comforting , welcoming and easygoing! : An absolute pleasure to be here. The food is defo worth the price. I had the cheese burger cooked to perfection. The patty was gigantic and came sizzling with a gorgeous swiss melted cheese and toasted buns. The team will go to all lengths to make you feel at home in this little paradise. The food was nothing to rave about. Its a pizza spot that offers salads, pizzas and pasta. We sat outside, had a large salad (shared), pizza (shared) and couple of glasses of wine. Its average when it comes to food, honestly. However it is a good place to people watch, have beer (as some were), and just watch the activities on the promenade. Its centrally located so much goes on. They have outside seating and indoor, which to our surprise was pretty cool, like a saloon or old-time swiss restaurant.
