I loved the smoked salmon but the prawns were a bit tasteless, good choice of desserts but the coffee was Starbucks which wasn't so good. The bar staff were slow and inexperienced and the drinks expensive

Had a very nice lunch there as usual, plenty of choice and good service , even though it was very busy we did not have to wait long , and the staff were very attentive . Only thing that I would like to see is the bill bought to the table as queuing up across the entrance is a bit poor

Ordered chicken and chips. Was warned it would take 30 mins which was fine as I thought it would be lovingly cooked and presented in that time. It took 50 mins and was very average, tough, and definitely not cooked slowly. I like the hotel but will NEVER eat here again. Food: 2/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 1/5

We went to their Sunday Carvery yesterday and the staff were excellent, no complaints there. However, the roast potatoes were undercooked and lacked color, and the vegetables were similarly undercooked and bland. The roasted vegetables had no flavor and the beef was tough with limited options. I would not return to this restaurant.

We came for lunch and had a Carvery this is our opinion and the table next to us also agreed , the beef was raw ,red and blooded in the middle the roast potatoes was under cooked and hard , the gravy was thin and tasteless the apple pie was bland , and the soup wasn’t seasoned we didn’t enjoy our meal at all the best thing was the bread rolls , the food need improvement we wont be coming here again

We went for Sunday lunch and opted for the all-you-can-eat option at £17.90. The menu included a variety of options such as soup, seafood, continental cold meats, roast beef, gammon, turkey, and tuna, all served with all the trimmings. For dessert, there was a selection of fruit crumble, pecan pie, egg tart, cheesecake, and cheese and crackers. Everything was delicious and overall it was a lovely restaurant experience.

We hadn't visited this restaurant since before the first lockdown, but we heard that they have revamped their restaurant and menu, so we decided to give it a try... and we are so happy we did! The food was excellent, as was the service. While the main menu looked delicious, we opted for the specials menu and the stuffed chicken was the best we've ever had! The tart starters were delightful, as was the panna cotta (recommended by our server, Katie), but the chicken was our favorite. The young staff, Ben and Lucia, were polite and efficient. We are local and will definitely be returning!

I am currently sat in their restaurant of which the service is horrific I have stayed here many times before and usually enjoyed but the service has slipped!!! I 'm currently sat here listening to I like to move it move it by the Out here brothers (clubbing music I do miss the 90:s however) I 've ordered a wine that has taken 15 minutes to get to me I was at the bar earlier doing some paper work and all I could here was the three barmaids giggling at each other and when I went to order a drink was stood waiting for 5 minutes! I 'm not one to usually write bad reports but this place needs to change quickly!!!

We used to come to this restaurant regularly. It was good food and a lovely ambience. Sadly neither is now true. My husband and I had booked for the restaurant, only to find we were placed slap bang in the middle of a coach party who had all arrived shortly before we did. The coach party were of course enjoying themselves with loud laughter and were very dressed down as of course is often the case with coach parties. My husband and I felt totally overdressed. We had to wait half an hour for our starter after my husband pointed out we were still waiting. We also had to ask for rolls, as they had not offered us any when we arrived.
