"Popped in for the blackboard deal of bacon or sausage sandwich and coffee or tea for £4. I opted to add a sausage for £1. Mocha coffee was beauts however when the sandwich arrived it wasn’t what I expected I found a small thread of something with a black thing attached hanging down from the bread. Looked vile, I tried to get the attention of the server but she was busy on her phone. When she did come over I pointed out the problem and asked for the remaining half of the sandwich to be switched to brown bread. I did hear the chef laughing in the kitchen hoping it wasn’t about my returned food. Alas it came back just as I had sent it, untouched. I told the young lady that I asked for brown bread but she said sorry we don’t have brown bread only sour dough! I took off the crusts and ate the rest because the edges of the bread had some sort of black bits stuck to it. I guess you get what you pay for, nonetheless a sincere apology wouldn’t go a miss. Place was very cold inside and on a cold day it’s unacceptable. Won’t be returning..."

The staff at this restaurant are pleasant and welcoming, and they serve great coffee. I appreciate their focus on supporting local independent businesses. The restaurant is conveniently located next to the Cornmarket car park.

My friend and I went to Steam and coincidentally both ordered a mocha. It took a while to be served, but when it arrived, it was hot and delicious. For breakfast, we both tried the hangover dish, which was amazing. The addition of cheese on top added even more flavor. I will definitely be returning for more of it in the future, as it was one of the high-quality meals that I will miss. Overall, a great experience at Steam.

I went to this restaurant today to try one of their homemade cakes that I had seen advertised and they looked amazing! I was not let down, as there was a wide variety of unique cake options that were all rich and tempting. I ended up choosing the lotus biscoff bar and it was fantastic! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the cafe had a bright and open atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to hang out and also great for people-watching.

On a cold day popped in for first time to Steam. Ordered flat white and a ham and cheese croissant. First thing I noticed how cold it was inside, two temporary heaters were deployed, one wasn't working and one was not up to the job, it was freezing. Only one couple were in, but they soon left. Coffee was good but croissant was the smallest I've seen and frankly cold, the cheese was melted but it must have been left on the side. For £4.60 each this was Very disappointing. Unfortunately will not be returning.

I visited Steam with a friend I hadnt seen for a while from uni, on the off chance i was trying all the independents in worcester. I recieved a friendly greeting from the person on the till and I proceeded to enjoy a well made, hot hot chocolate and waffles with fruit. I ordered without the maple syrup which was a mistake as I'd have enjoyed it more but honestly they are the best waffles that I've enjoyed in Worcester. Splendid service and good food and drink with a beautiful interior. Will be visiting again, and again, and again.

"BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT IN THE UK I visited based on previous reviews and the basis that they offered a tailored menu for my wife who has a Gluten allergy and an oil intolerance along with being a Vegan yep its a tough one. I called in advance and specified the dietary requirements for my wife and upon arriving at the restaurant were greeted by Amber who gave us a custom made menu from the chef which we didn’t expect. Awesome. My wife ordered the Buddha Bowl and I ordered the Lamb Souvlaki based on the recommendation from James who works at the bakery (we visited for coffee before the meal) and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The food arrived quickly and the serving was more than generous compared to any other Vegan restaurant I’ve been to and the choice of dishes is monster compared to other Vegan restaurants so there really is something for everyone. The only downside was that I couldn’t finish the sticky toffee pudding with custard and had to share with my wife!!! I never normally struggle with deserts! Overall, the staff (Amber and Alice) were super attentive and very knowledgeable about the food on the menu and the restaurant is by far the best for value for money and choice. We travelled over an hour to eat here and will be revisiting again to sample the rest of the menu. I was curious to read the negative reviews left here, but have put that down to stupid customers who probably aren’t Vegan and review fast food establishments like McDonalds shocking! Keep up the great work."
