Chicken madras is the best I've had for a long time.doesn't come to hot just right.very reasonable price as a couple we normally spend about £50 to £60 .try to go twice a month

Whether you want to eat in or take away, the food here never fails to deliver. Good value too with decent portions. Book if you want to eat in as it isn't a large restaurant which is part of its charm.

We hadn't eaten here for a long time and had heard reports that it wasn't as good as it used to be. This was not what we experienced when we visited early on a Saturday evening. It was very busy. The food was excellent, staff friendly and there was a great atmosphere. We'll be back! View menu

The food was excellent and ordering online was a breeze. The staff were very friendly and there was convenient parking available on site or across the road in the large carpark. Despite only two people in the restaurant when I arrived for pickup, it was still early so hopefully they would get busier later on.

This is the only curry restaurant in Sonning Common. They did a great job accommodating our large group and kept our beer refilled throughout the evening. The food was delicious, with perfectly balanced spices and the Jalfrezi I had was not too spicy. They provided plenty of poppadoms, though the mango chutney was a bit thin. Overall, everything else was very flavorful.

I haven't been to this restaurant in three years after having a terrible experience with their food, which I can only describe as dishwater. I ordered a lamb pathia, which should be hot, sweet, and sour, but instead was just a generic madras curry with added Chinese sweet and sour sauce from a jar. When I asked to speak to the manager, they suddenly couldn't speak English. My wife's prawn sagg dish had frozen prawns. I am being generous with giving this restaurant 3 stars, the only positive was the decent wine. I will not be returning. View menu
