"Fresh, tasy veggie curry and warm service. Collected a takeaway from here whilst staying in a horel nearby. It's any underwhelming location but once inside the restaurant I received really warm service and good food. I was shown to a comfy corner seat to sit down and offered coffee and papers whilst I waited. I paid a mere for vegetable rogan josh, two x rice, dhal, mushroom bhaji and bread. The rogan josh had a really fresh, tangy tomato taste and contained a good mix of veggies not just potato as is often the case. The tarka dhal was lovely and garlicky and the mushroom bhaji was very good. I'd happily eat their food again, it's one of the nicest curries I've had for ages."

Service was great! I was delayed in getting back for my order so the remade my dumplings. Everything was perfect. The Paneer dish and the Tandoori chicken was just wonderful.

Food was watery and luke warm at best. Only one person serving both drinks and checking on tables. Disappointed in spending £11.50 per adult and £5.50 per child when the poppadoms where basically the main thing eaten.

We chose to go here for a birthday meal after reading the reviews and I can honestly say the food was fresh and hot but, the curry was tastless I ordered a sambar. The mixers with the drinks were flat and for what we had it was over priced. View menu

We have been visiting this place since 1980. It hasn’t changed much but it is still a excellent place to go. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent. We have been going for takeaway food for the last couple of visits and that has always been very good.

I used to eat here regularly some years ago and was always happy with the food. I believe the ownership hasn't changed but the food certainly has. I drove there as I wanted the Phaal I once had, as I loved its 7 chilli rating. However, it was an appalling excuse for a curry, barely above Korma strength. The pilau rice was closer to Chinese fried rice. So disappointed I couldn't eat it. If this is an example of what they offer these days, I won't be returning View menu

Ok from the outside it doesn 't look much and the inside looks a little dark. (first impressions count and all that... But the service is excellent and affordable. Staff are very friendly and talkative and the quality of food is exceptional. I know someone on this site has complained about serving crinkle cut chips Keep it up those chips are to die for. We come in here the occasional Fridays and always find a warm welcome. I use it also for take aways. Well done to everyone who works there. Phil and Mark

fresh, tasy veggie curry and warm service. From here you have collected a trip while you were living in a horel near. it is any underwhelming situation, but once in the restaurant I really got warm service and good eating. I was shown to sit down and offered coffee and paper while waiting. I only paid £12 for sweet rogan josh, two x rice, dhal, mushroom bhaji and brot. the rogane josh had a really fresh, tangy tomato flavor and contained a good mix of sweet not only kartoffel as it is often the case. the Tarka-Dhal was beautiful and opaque and the mushroom-Bhaji was very good. I'd like to eat again, it's one of the most beautiful curries I've had for ever.
