"I was here recently with my daughter who had never been brave. we both enjoyed everything we ordered. we had three tapas dishes to share for our main course the tortilla, the black bell and the deep fried fish selection that were served separately, but this was no problem, as it allowed us to really taste the different aromes. the portions were not huge, that is true, but we did not want to have a big heavy meal anyway, so we were perfectly satisfied with the portions sizes, especially since this has a little space for both of us to have dessert; my daughter wanted to taste the churros and I had the baskenkäsekuchen with a berry-comonote on the side. that were also delicious and after the cheesecake I was quite sure full! we had only one crippled with our food, so it was not expensive for what was very good eating, according to my opinion. And we also had a nice waiter, raoul, who also deserves a special mention for his pleasant wise and attentiveness. I also liked the decor inside and the casual mood. this was our first meal since the kovid pandemie started and our first meal in england since we moved here in juli 2020, so it was a special evening for us in many respects. thanks!"

For everyone! We went as a group of 4, staff incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and what would work for all of us. An in inviting atmosphere, delicious food and lovely staff!

Very cold inside, no sherry available, no homemade lemonade available, food so so. Don’t bother going- plenty of other restaurants. I felt sorry for the staff, trying to keep a sinking ship afloat…

Avoid at all costs! I have never complained about food but this was inedible, we left without hungry eating the food and paying. Other people around us were also complaining about service and food which didn’t help the atmosphere. The restaurant was cold and service was awful, it took us 15 mins to get our bottle of wine which they then couldn’t open. View menu

We decided to dine here on a cold Thursday afternoon approx 12:30pm. we opted for the lunch menu as we thought it was a good deal (2 course for £15.95) most of us got the padron peppers and the steak and fries, it came out in a timely manner and was very delicious. our waitress ellie was really attentive, quickly asking how food was and asking if we wanted anymore drinks, and then clearing plates almost instantly after we had finished and offered desserts and coffees which we didn’t go for. all in all a very good lunch time meal will be back!

An awful experience. We have always had Tapas on NYE and have eaten here before, but this year it was abysmal. It was entirely empty never a good sign freezing cold and the staff just couldnt be bothered. We asked for the heating to be turned on 'Its broken '. None of the staff talked to us or chatted, and sat in a corner on their laptop, or just wandered off. It used to be so much better than this cheerful european staff, smiling, pleased to see you and the place had a buzzing atmosphere. We refused to pay the service charge and we will not be back.

Horrendous, do not visit this restaurant unless you want to be incredibly disappointed. Manager “showed us to our table” by walking to a table for two, chucking the menus on the table and walking off. No welcome, no “we will be over to take your order shortly”, you are made to feel like an inconvenience. Chorizo looked like a turd on the plate (see picture) and everything was awfully overcooked….mussels were like chunks of dried leather, calamari over salty rubber rings and the pork belly chunks or bark… With so many incredible eateries in Bath, never, ever visit this shambles. We booked to go again as we’d enjoyed our time here some years ago and have eaten in many other of their restaurants. Our time last night can only be described as disappointing and a little sad because we’d really been looking forward to our meal. The food its self was nice although the tapas offer on the menu wasn’t as extensive as it used to be. The first table we were seated at was in a terrible draft so asked to be moved but our next table was only moderately warmer. The staff weren’t engaged or particularly attentive. There was no buzzing atmosphere for a Saturday evening either. When we left at 8.15 there were only 2 other tables with diners. Such a shame as it feels like it’s running...

After being seated and given menus, we asked if there were any heaters as it was very cold inside the restaurant. We were told the heating was broken, we decided that we might warm up once we got some hot food drinks. We don’t live in the area and had made the journey especially as we’d eaten here twice before. The food was good but got cold quickly as both the serving dishes and air temp was very cold. We ate quickly and asked for the bill. The waitress wasn’t very sympathetic on leaving we saw rugs on chairs near the door, which we could have been offered, or maybe they could have offered a free hot drink? We were very disappointed with our visit and found another eatery to have our desser...
