Our first visit luckily for us this was a panic booking as our preference was closed. However it ended up a real find great food let’s call it modern Indian with a British twist

without doubt the best lunch that offers east of leeds! amazing aromen, excellent quality, reasonable portions, beautiful environment and first class service. soon again to an evening meal.

Went tonight for a takeaway, chicken biriyani with a refreshing yoghurt and a garlic naan. Chicken was tender and well cooked, great flavours a lovely pint of Cobra whilst i waited. Top friend service too. Would recommend. View menu

Had such a great time here, would definitely recommend. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was such a relaxed experience and not rushed which is sometimes the case with this sort of experience. The food was amazing and was flavourful without being...over the top spicy but still had a good kick.

this restaurant is always top of our lists if you want to celebrate something special! the best service I have ever received was in this restaurant that they never leave their glass empty! as they can see, the food presentation is beautiful and tasted. even better. we often bring family who live south to this restaurant and it always hurts them too!

Excellent alternative to a traditional Christmas dinner. Food was delicious, service was friendly, efficient and informative .... all in lovely surroundings with views over the marina. Will definitely go again ... and such a bargain price for Christmas Day.... cheaper than our local pub! Star...of the show was definitely the flavoursome food which was superbly presented. the waitress was nice, went with the kitchen after I mentioned an allergy to coriander. (I guess coriander is a common crumble in Indian food, but sjmilar restaurants have always been able to remove it from most directed the manager wanted to know who it was with an allergy. I explained myself again and then he said the only thing I would be in the situation was the simple white rice, since coriander was dressed in all others (safe, if the dinge were freshly cooked, this would not have been a problem eventually agreed that I could have the lamb rump with baby carrots, but recieved lamb with kartoffel wedge instead. eating was nice, but seemed so annoying to get something ordered. My wife and I came for our wedding anniversary I had booked this for a number of weeks. It was booked for on the December. I received a call on the December asking to come in by as this was now...last orders. This I felt was very short notice especially when I work in Leeds. We got to the restaurant just before The order was taken, having been told that there was no tasting menu available. Very disappointed as this was the main reason we came to the restaurant. We ordered from the A La Carte Menu. Starter and main course. These were served very nicely but too quickly. Firstly as previous reviewers have said this is not a traditional Indian restaurant. It's fusion food, mixing English and Indian cuisine. So if you're looking for a standard Jalfrezi, Madras or Korma you may be better looking elsewhere. Nevertheless the menu looked interesting so we...thought we would give it a try. The building itself on approach is very impressive and the decor inside is stunning. The service throughout was also very good. Attentive and pleasant. The food itself is good but for the price you are going to pay you would expect a little better and in general it just feels a little confused and for me as a result, a little bland.
