"Picked this based on good recent reviews when visiting Gloucester. We love Thai food and had high expectations but were left disappointed with the lack of flavour in the soups and the tamarind duck dish. They just tasted watered down. All noodle dishes were nice but again, nothing to write home about. And the 'Baileys ' on the menu was a cheaper version of Irish coffee cream... The place is also so tired looking and full of weird printed messages, like mind your head, mind the step, etc, it completely lacked atmosphere. It wouldn 't matter if the food blew your socks off but, sadly, that was not the case. Even the pleasant service did not rescue it for us. We won 't be back."

Stopped here for dinner one evening while staying in the town last week. We had a set meal for two and it was delicious and plenty for the two of us. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. View menu

Sorry but I’ve been in Thailand and I know how a good pad thai should taste…the one I’ve got was completely bland, tasted like a sad spaghetti with tasteless tomato sauce and some onions…at least the service was good

We looked at a few places close by, but came back to Taste of Thai. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and very good value. This was matched by the very friendly and attentive service. Can’t wait to come back!

Food is authentic, delicious and price is very cheap, the environment is nice ,quiet, suit for couples dating as well. And if you feel too cold ,you can ask you turn the heater on or ask to seat next to the radiator. We had set for 2 person, and we didn't eat them all.

I used to visit this little place for a takeaway years ago when I lived locally, the food was fantastic then and I was so pleased to discover it hasn't changed. My friend and I ate in and had the best experience. The food is so delicious and authentic and the service is so friendly and efficient. It's a tiny little restaurant with a few tables inside. It's comfy and relaxed and well worth a visit.
