Really lovely place. Staff food and atmosphere are great. Going back for my mums birthday in a couple of weeks.

A quick and easy review,food was lovely,a very good portion. Staff were spot on,nothing too much trouble. Would deffo return without a doubt.

Hostess was attentive, friendly and helpful with meal selections. Food was well seasoned and flavorful. My favorite was the Eton Mess dessert. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Enjoyed the lovely view. View menu

Had a great meal in a lovely friendly pub/restaurant. Food was first class and great value for money. We were looked after by Summer who was attentive and very friendly. Will return next time we’re in the area.

Went on Tuesday evening and was served by Helen. She was an absolute treasure. She arranged for me to have my chilli on the side was really pleasant and helpful. She was smiling constantly at everyone. The restaurant was very comfortable and well decorated the food was lovely. It was Helen that made the experience great. Many thanks

Ordered steak Philly sandwich and it was terrible. I thought they had forgotten to put the steak on it as couldn’t taste any but actually there was about 3 tiny slivers of steak with too many green peppers and horrible melted orange processed cheese. Sent it back after 2 bites and ordered BLT instead- this was better. The bar staff were lovely and happy to replace the meal.

Visited on 22nd September at lunch time. Not been in for over 15 years and it was nice to see it had been renovated yet still retained some of the old features. I had the cheese pie with chips and gravy. It was simply the BEST CHEESE PIE I HAVE EVER HAD. Wonderful. I wanted to buy the lot… Stunning food. Also the two ladies who served us were wonderful, very attentive, very friendly. Sorry I did ask your names but my memory is rubbish! Will definitely be back… thank you!

We love this place. Third time here, as we always stop by when flying from Manchester Airport. Glad it didn’t disappoint as usual because not used MAN in a while. Great view of planes landing, so gets you in the holiday mood. Food is lovely and plentiful, service friendly and it's clean. What more could you want? We worry though that more holiday makers won't stumble across this place like we did years ago when using Jet Car Parks. They have changed the roads around the airport now, so it's a bit more off the beaten track. But seek it out if you can. View menu
