"Tea Times has everything to be the hidden gems of Whitstable. If you fancy a cosy breakfast before starting your day, this is your place. The first floor with its vintage decoration and its fairy lights sets a nice atmosphere. However, as they serve soft drinks, sandwiches and breakfasts, I did not understand why they took a while (10/15minutes) to serve us. We have been invited to sit at a table which wasn’t cleaned and left with some piece of food from previous clients. The staff is young and I get the lack of professionalism since it’s a cosy coffee for friends gathering but I think it would have been pleasing to have a waiter more polite and less annoyed in their attitude. Overall, the food is good and well prepared. If you fancy some fries, get them for 3£. You won’t regret it."

We stopped here for an early lunch and we’re not disappointed. The homemade chill with a jacket potato was the best I’ve tasted.

This cafe is the perfect spot to relax and indulge in tea and cake after a day of walking. The staff is welcoming and the cafe is conveniently situated in the heart of the high street.

Amazing lunch and overall a great caff. Nice cozy interior, like I was in my nans gaff. 5 stars for the carrot cake 5 stars for the sandwiches I don’t think I ever a sponge as good as that could make.

Went for breakfast with my wife prior to returning home. Breakfast lovely, fresh and hot and wholesome. We chose our own combination. Friendly and efficient service and good value for money compared to the joint directly opposite) highly recommended.

The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly, the coffee was excellent, the atmosphere was very comfortable, and the apple crumble cake was delicious. There are many coffee shops in Whitstable, but this one stood out as being particularly welcoming.

After spending the day exploring the fishing village of Whitstable and nearby Tankerton, we stopped by this charming little restaurant. We enjoyed delicious sandwiches made with thick, hearty bread and generous fillings. The variety of options was impressive. The cakes were a pleasant surprise - not your typical store-bought fare, but homemade and delicious. This place is the real deal and we highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. I ordered a scrumptious baked potato with cheese that was piping hot and generously topped with cheese. It also came with a side salad that had a delicious dressing. My husband opted for the salmon salad sandwich and he absolutely loved it. We also enjoyed our teas and flat white coffees. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was nice and laid-back. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

We went for Monday morning breakfast before leaving after a wonderful weekend in Whitstable. Simply the best full English breakfast we’ve ever eaten. Cooked to perfection and piping hot, with a lovely cup of tea and fresh orange juice it was absolutely delicious. Excellent customer service and a selection of wonderful cakes as you walk in the door (not sampled as full up from breakfast). I couldn’t fault this lovely cafe and highly recommend it.

This restaurant is a charming spot for lunch. The building has a unique and cozy atmosphere with meticulous attention to detail, making it feel very homely. We sat upstairs and enjoyed a delicious lunch of jacket potatoes, hot chocolate, and red wine. The staff were incredibly friendly and it was evident that this is a family-run establishment. They seemed genuinely happy to be working there. We will definitely be back in December when we return to Whitstable.
