"We booked a table at The Angel Inn with a group of work colleagues on a Saturday night. The place was very busy as there was a football final on the screens. Generally the atmosphere was good, although a little ruckus did break out at one point and things got a little bit rowdy. This was soon settled and we got to ordering food. Ordering is done at a hatch and it's every man for themselves, which is great to avoid awkward bill splitting at the end of the night. They have a good menu with plenty of choice, with both veggie and meat options. I have to say the food was top notch, I had the vegetarian sizzler(see photo) and it was really good, definitely a choice for those with a hearty appetite, or maybe it's a good sharer dish for normal eaters! All the food arrived promptly, the group reported the food to be great and there were no complaints. Would definitely come back again, maybe not on a football finals night, but would highly recommend to others to give it a try."

I recently visited this restaurant and found the staff to be very rude. They claimed they were fully booked, despite the fact that the restaurant was completely empty.

Great food with outdoor sitting available if u want! Everything was perfectly made! I highly recommend the chicken noodles and peshwari naan but even the rest of the dishes were equally amazing!

I visited the restaurant on a Friday around 7 pm. There were plenty of seats available inside, but the outdoor tent was quite busy. Our food arrived quickly after ordering, and the staff were accommodating and very helpful. View menu

Under cooked and soggy chips, curry was sweeter than the desert, naan bread was very thin, Portion sizes are less than other bar and grills give you. Food order counter staff not friendly and have a communication problem, drinks however were good and staff behind the bar were nice, but won't be returning.

The portions are big so we all ended up taking home some food! Generally, the food was well seasoned, well cooked, good amount of spicy and good flavour! The mixed grill was definitely smoking and the meats were quality. The bar is a very casual pub environment and there is a slight separation for the food area, but I think you can sit anywhere!
