"The Arnos Arms is generally a good pub. The venue and décor is nice, the staff are friendly polite and there is a decent drinks selection. It is quite pricey however – and the food can be hit and miss. We went for a Sunday roast recently with adults and children. The roast chicken served was very good. The roast beef was poor – very thin slices – generally not enjoyable. The veg on all dinners was average. We had to ask for more gravy, condiments etc. Another visit mid-week with family. Fish and Chip dinner was good. Those that had burgers were not happy – generally overcooked and dry. General opinion of other dishes was very average. We did mention variable quality to staff member when paying the bill – who was apologetic. Will still go to the Arnos for a drink – but for family meals will try other venues for a bit as the current food offer is no great draw. Food and service need to be improved in line with prices charged."

Fabulous experience. I visit often for drinks and for food. Great staff and superb drinks range. Table football is an added bonus.

Perfect summer garden around the back. Brilliant service from all staff and delicious freshly cooked food. 1 min walk from arnos Grove tube or arnos Grove Park Eveything is superb

Had the Baked Salmon. The Salmon portion was microscopic. Could've swallowed the whole thing in one. The so-called salad was little more than a pile of chopped white cabbage that they called coleslaw. Hugely over-priced for what you got.

Nice and friendly local pub. We visited on a Saturday evening with three teenage boys. Lots of games for the boys to play. Outside space was very pleasant, shame it shut at 10pm. We enjoyed our drinks. Chips were good. We’ll be back for lunch or dinner. First impressions were very good! View menu

Have eaten here a few times recently and the quality of the food has gone down each time. Anything fried, probably because the food is frozen, is cooked to extinction so everything tastes the same. Additionally there is an unpleasant taste to fried foods suggesting the oil used needs replacing. Pity the food is so iffy because it's a nice pub and the staff are great.

Food prices massively overpriced (abusing the excuses of food prices IMO). A watercress garlic gnocchi dish £8 for starter £15 for main, turned up as a main but tiny and looking like a starter. Suggested it looked like the a starter, was taken back (with no apology) and then brought back looking the same size. Looked at the menu realised all overpriced halloumi fries for £7.50 and an average burger for £16. No apology offered and took ages to resolve an issue they didn’t solve. Won’t be returning.

My wife and I have visted the Arnos Arms a few times in recent weeks, we have always received a friendly welcome from cheerful, helpful staff so no issues on customer service. This time I had Haddock and Chips and, unfortunately the food was poor. The presentation was excellent with what appeared to be a huge piece of fish in crispy batter. However, the Haddock itself was rubbery and tasteless. The chips were overcooked and tasted of burnt oil, so much so that I had a nasty aftertaste all evening. My wife had the Lamb Kofte which she enjoyed. Both meals were not cheap and I don;t have an issue with paying a bit more to help a local independent pub, but the quality of the food needs to reflec... View menu

We had the privilege of hosting my dad's wake at the Arnos Pub, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience during a difficult time. Lucy and the staff at the Arnos Pub went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From the warm and accommodating service to the tastefully arranged space, they handled every detail with care. The food and drinks were exceptional, and our guests were impressed with the quality and variety of options provided. The atmosphere was just right, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone in attendance. Thank you, Arnos Pub, for your outstanding service and for helping us honor our dad's memory in such a meaningful way. We couldn'...

I have traveled to many Countries and has patronize many Pubs in UK and London. Yesterday I brought 9 friends to Sherlock Holmes Put at Northumberland Street. We had a pleasant night. Enjoyed the food and services. Eat First Oay Later. This is not the first time I brought friends there. I am from Singapore. Today, 22nd May 2923, I brought 3 friends there and ordered the food my friends wanted. After waiting for a long time I was asked to pay at the Counter. I said okay and asked whether have the food been prepared. The answer was NO because I haven’t paid. We were seated in the restaurant and No one approached us to say that we have to pay first. Even when I ordered the food I wasn’t told th...
