"I reserved The Snug at The Barley Mow for a client lunch event, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. We started with canapés and then moved on to the feasting menu, which was excellent. The highlights included the delicious bread with creamy butter, the vegan shepherd's pie, and the tender chicken. Despite feeling full, we couldn't resist the incredible sticky toffee pudding and somehow found room for it. Our clients provided overwhelmingly positive feedback about the whole experience. A huge thank you to our main host, Belle, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It would be great if they offered to reserve a space in the bar for those who book The Snug and want to keep the festivities going, but we managed to find a nice corner to continue the celebration. Thanks to everyone; we’ll definitely be back!"

was right next to the hotel where I lived, and the reason for this was to watch the football game on TV. great atmosphere. fab service. nice pub food.

This is a great pub with an excellent selection of beers, wines, and spirits. The decor is appealing and has a nice vintage vibe. I watched the Sweden vs. England match here, and the atmosphere was amazing. By the way, did you hear that it might just be coming home? View menu

The service and food were outstanding. This is one of the most upscale pubs I've ever visited. I highly recommend trying the haggis Scotch eggs and the beef pie if you're looking to sample traditional British cuisine. The atmosphere is very laid-back, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home!

We enjoyed a Sunday lunch in the upstairs restaurant, and the service provided by George and his team was outstanding. We started with elegant and delicious dishes of smoked salmon and soused mackerel. For the main course, we had roast beef accompanied by the best Yorkshire pudding—stuffed with pulled beef—and perfectly cooked vegetables. While it's not the cheapest option (where is these days?), it was truly a wonderful dining experience.
