"I made a reservation through Opentable, but when we arrived, there was no record of it. They informed us that they don't work with Opentable. Fortunately, we didn’t have any trouble getting a table. All four of us ordered the three-meat meal, which was supposed to include beef, turkey, and pork. We received beef that was tough and filled with gristle (our dog enjoyed it when we got home), turkey, and gammon instead of pork. The meal was lukewarm, and the Yorkshire pudding was overcooked. The dessert was decent, especially the apple pie with custard served as a mini dessert alongside coffee. However, my friends ordered the Banoffee pie, and were disappointed by the very small portion they received."

Fortunately, we were able to get a table without any issues. All four of us ordered the three-meat dish that was advertised as containing brisket, turkey, and pork. Instead, we received brisket (which was tough and filled with gristle—my dog enjoyed it when we got home), turkey, and gammon. The meal was served lukewarm, and the Yorkshire pudding was overcooked. For dessert, we ordered the mini apple cake and custard with coffee, which was enjoyable. My friends had the banoffee pie, but the portion was quite small.

"We have always enjoyed coming here for a coffee during the summer months , but unfortunately today we had really poor service. We came in just for morning coffee. The place was around 60 65% full. It took 10/ 15 minutes for our order to be taken then a further 20/25 minutes to receive a coffee each. When checking how long it would be the server apologised and said she would check this then took a further 6 minutes to get the coffee. At this point she told us apparently the order had only been put through 11 minutes ago. Which means whoever took our order didn’t bother putting it through for quite some time. The only positive to the visit was the till assistant at the end who was really polite and friendly. just to add that in this time other people had been/eaten and left."

"We are local residents and had heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to try their Christmas set meal, which we pre-ordered to minimize any potential issues. The starters were delicious, but we felt that the portion of crispy noodles was too large for an appetizer. Additionally, we noticed that the smoked salmon and game terrine were served with the wrong type of bread – the terrine came with soft brown bread while the salmon was paired with grilled ciabatta, which seemed like a mistake. The cumberland gel seemed more like a garnish rather than an integral part of the dish, with minimal impact. Our 16-year-old enjoyed the Sirloin mains, but I felt that there was too much potato on the plate and a lack of greenery. The seabass lacked seasoning, and the turkey dinner was a bit bland for my taste, requiring extra seasoning. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and we plan on giving the restaurant another chance outside of the busy Christmas period."

"my man and I recently visited this curry house. we have not been through new possessions since the takeover. it was really a big disappointment. eating was bad, we would give it, I am trying to say something positive about our experience tbh. the head. the curry was far too sweet, I picked up a few pieces of meat and left the sauce. naan brot was nothing to scream. the place was quite empty, so no atmosphere. we will definitely not think new."

"We visited fairly often before the pandemic started, and last night was our first time back since then. We wondered if it would be as good as it used to be, and I'm very pleased to say it's still wonderful. The food is fresh and tasty and really hits the spot. I particularly loved the starters of sweetcorn cakes (HUGE portion! and chicken satay, and my husband satisfied his craving for the Weeping Tiger main, which was always his favourite. Our waitress was perfect, friendly and prompt but not crowding us. Thank you to her : We paid less for our meal for three with wine than we often pay for a meal for two elsewhere. Really good value. We're going to be visitors again from now on."
