We ate in the restaurant recently, the food was good and service on point. We had 2 steaks and the Chicken Schnitzel

We stayed at the Burlington and ate our evening meal at the Bay Tree Bar. Food was excellent tasty and well presented. They have a great choice of whisky, draught beer and wine.

Interior is nice. The staff took a very long time to take drink orders. Some didn’t speak great English so paying was difficult. Won’t return as I didn’t feel like I was welcome there.

The customer service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. The menu may not be extensive, but the quality of the dishes we tried was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely meal at the Bay Tree. Great to see it refurbished in a tasteful way and being supported. Delicious food and drink. Lovely chunky chips! Puddings were beautiful and of generous size. Lemon posset was tangy. Eaton Mess delicious. Recommended.

I have visited here a few times. Service is always good and the decor is lovely. This particular day we sat outside, celebrating a friend's birthday, perfect little sun trap for most of the afternoon. Due to restrictions it was table service and at no point were we short of attention, or a drink. When paying the 3 separate bills they were worked thoroughly and correctly. Thank you Bay Tree :

After not going out for Christmas dinner in 20 years, we had high expectations for our meal. The service was good and the staff were pleasant. However, for £120 per person, we expected to be more satisfied. We all opted for the traditional turkey dinner, but were disappointed to receive a small portion on a tiny plate with minimal sides. The cheese and biscuits that I ordered afterwards were also disappointingly small. We felt like we were taken advantage of with the high prices we paid. In the end, we had to go to our local pub to get a proper meal after being left hungry and unsatisfied.

If you enjoy gin, this bar is the perfect spot for you. They offer 52 different types of gin, fantastic cocktails, as well as a great selection of beer, lager, and non-alcoholic drinks. They also serve tea, coffee, and delicious food. The staff at the bar are friendly and helpful, especially Gabriel who is charming, helpful, and knowledgeable. The chef is extremely talented, as demonstrated by my perfectly cooked sea bass with asparagus, fondant potatoes, and hollandaise with tomato sauce. The bar is also skilled at making liqueur coffees. Located just one minute from the Clifftop Promenade, this is a great spot to visit.

I came to the hotel today for a ladies cream tea as part of a large group. The frame was lovely but the food very poor. The allocated portion od sandwiches was only 2 (very small triangular) per person, and with the way it was set up, I only got the last two of the whole selection, which I didn't fancy having, and there was no refill possible. The scones were warm when brought to the table, but within 5 minutes they were already dry. The tea and coffee had to be poured by waiters but they were very understaffed and clearly overwhelmed. Once they had poured the tea, we had to wait 5 min for milk to arrive. Tea pots could at least have been left on the table. And to top it all, when I sat down...
