"Had Sunday roast for three of us (beef, lamb and nut roast). Great service and the everyone's roast was perfect. The lamb was tender and the veg were really well cooked (the red cabbage was especially tasty). The extra treat of couliflower cheese was a bonus and unexpected. Service was great warm and welcoming and very reasonably priced. This was our first visit under new management and ouldn't be more happier. Also being such a lovely old pub in one of the prettiest villages in the area is another added bonus. Can I give 6 stars?"

Only went for a meal here. Excellent food and service. Very enjoyable. The Bear is set in the quiet village of Bisley, Gloucestershire. Would definitely recommend eating here. View menu

Went here for a Sunday lunch, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. it was delicious. They have their own car park. The building itself is hundreds of years old and has amazing history. The fact you have to cross the road to go to the men's toilet just adds to the experience. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Beer was great as was the desert. Highly recommended
