"Black Horse, Charlswood We came here as we were staying in a local Gatwick Airport hotel in the area. It’s a very busy nice country pub that has a normal menu and also a posh Indian menu I ordered lamb cutlets (served on a wooden board) which came with a very small selection of nicely roasted veg, and my partner ordered the tandoori mixed grill. This was very expensive and shamefully comes with no bread or rice or anything!!!… we had to spend over £3 extra on chips as 100% meat on his board, nothing else (not a plate) So we won’t be back as our meal came to over £52 with no starters, desserts or even alcoholic drinks!"

My family and I stopped by for lunch at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. My wife had the ribs and I had the tikka wrap, both of which were amazing. The chef even came out to ensure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning for a curry. View menu

Just eaten and had a few drinks here. The food is amazing- we had the Shepherds pie, chicken pie and beef and ale pie and it was all utterly fantastic. The veg and potatoes were also cooked to perfection. Gutted we didn’t have 3 courses so we could enjoy more! The staff are so welcoming and if we are back this way we would 100% be straight in here.

What a massive difference in service and quality from when it was owed by Hall Woodhouse. Staff so pleasant, helpful and eager to please but the biggest change is the quality of the food. OMG. Indian or English, burgers or Biriani. Perfectly cooked, served quickly, and so tasty. Well done all the team. Looking forward to coming back again and again.

I went to this restaurant for an early dinner with friends and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and our meals were delicious. The restaurant offers both English and Indian menu options with a wide variety of choices. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dishes, especially the curries. The relaxed atmosphere made us stay for most of the evening. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. View menu

I went to this restaurant for lunch after having the afternoon off work. It was my first time visiting since it had changed ownership. The service and food were both excellent. We ordered a variety of starters, including prawns, battered fish, breaded courgettes, and truffle fries, all of which were delicious and freshly cooked. The chef, Rocky, came out to speak to the customers for feedback, which was a nice gesture. He was very friendly and open to feedback. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We popped in for a quick lunch and we were very happy with what we had! Very nice two sided menu, pub grub one side and curries the other and quite an extensive range. I had a really nice chicken tikka wrap, which came with a generous portion of chips and also a super dip. My friend had the steak pie which she also enjoyed. Friendly staff, quite busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying their various choices. I have to say that the curries some ladies had on another table looked and smelt fantastic! Will definitely go again!
