"Food was fine but otherwise not great, sadly. No record of our booking despite text confirmation reply the day before and reception made it sound like they were doing us a favour when they found us a table. Two main dishes sold out even though only 1pm. Almonds ordered with champagne on arrival didn 't arrive although very nice waiter did bring us some olives as an apology. Manager then asked if we would consider moving tables midway after we had started our lunch to allow them to join our table for two to the one next in order to make a bigger table. We were also badgered to order by various different waiters even though we had already ordered. Our 'main ' waiter was friendly and did his best but the whole thing was pretty average (for it 's price). The restaurant is also very noisy (which to be fair, I knew from previous visits). The Botanist used to be quite stylish both food and ambience wise but this seems to have changed maybe new owners? Tbh I only went because Colbert (over the road) was fully booked."

The ambience is beautiful and the service is excellent. However, paying £24 for a basic Caesar salad seems a bit much. But then again, it is Chelsea.

The restaurant features a stylish interior and is located in a great spot. The wine selection is quite good, and the monk dish was delicious. Overall, I would give it a score of 20%.

Very pleasant dining environment and friendly staff. A little pricey but the location supports it. It is a busy place. For a pre concert dinner, service could sometimes be more responsive. I recommend The Botanist View menu

The dining experience was overpriced for what was offered. The server lacked knowledge about the wine list. The table setup was not conducive to discussions for a large group. Overall, the meal was average but too expensive, so I would not return.

Nice location and ok food but staff disinterested and bordering on rude. Had booked through Open Table and on arrival they couldn’t find our booking and claimed “ we’re not on Open Table anymore we dont use them”….. this needs to be clarified as they’re clearly bookable on here still!
