"We were the only ones in the patio and yet it took 30' to get our food (5 of us). When we asked for clarifications on the menu such as ingredients of the accompanying sauce for the salad or which ones were the seasonal vegetables, she couldn't answer. While we appreciated to be left alone, we were literally left alone. While they had an internal lunch going on at the opposite side and they were all focused on it. Food was great though and I appreciated they had gluten free bread for me."

"We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We chose to dine here because it was close to our hotel, and we are so happy we did. The cocktails were great, and our starters of crab ravioli and chicory and gorgonzola salad were delicious. Our main courses of chicken breast and spatchcock poussin were outstanding. We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of Chablis with our meal. We highly recommend this restaurant and plan on returning before we leave London."

"Starters (prawn cocktail) and dessert (the ice cream bowl) were excellent. Tried the tomahawk for main and it was a tad cold. Drinks at the bar before dinner were very slow unfortunately. The dining room is very elegant and has a good atmosphere to dine the staff are all very helpful."

"At the arrival we had to wait as they couldn't find the booking. When ordering one of my guest asked to have the chicken breast without sweetcorn and after the waiter came back saying the chef explained the sweetcorn is the main ingredient in the menu as it's cooked 3 ways and not having sweetcorn would alter the original taste of the recipes, my guest asked if something else could be added instead. When the food was delivered the staff didn't ensure we had everything we needed, salt and pepper were missing and a check back wasn't given throughout the dinner. The chips were dry and far overcooked, the RibEye was uneatable, the duck breast was tough, chewy and overcooked, the haddock dish was oversalted. Everything was a complete disappointment and not worthy all that money!"

"Bad experience, the worst in London and for me it is very rare because I I am very attentive when I choose a cocktail bars or restaurants. I came with my husband last Wednesday and we definitely decided to not come back again. We lost time , a lot of time and money and after that , we opted for anothr cocktail bar nearby, beter experience in terms of customer service. We popped in, none approached us, none greated us, none believes in the importance of Eye Contact especially when you are busy, understaffed and customer has to wait. Obviously we can but just try to encourage us to hold. We had the feeling that they had enough with customers at 6:30pm. After a lot of time, we sat at the bar , we waited a lot for 2 easy cocktails, loud music, we could not talk each other, we left as soon as we finished our drinks. We did not see the Big Group there is behind this venue. From what we experienced I believe that just regulars customers are treated well so that's why they get some (not all of them) nice reviews. I also do not like the robotic way to reply to the bad reviews, like if you do not care about what we say as customers ,so please do not do it. You opened a terrace in the sqare, spring time just came and you do not have staff?"

"I went here for my 20th Birthday, booked a table of 8 for afternoon tea. When I came the table wasn't ready and they never asked for my reservation name. Then the waitress gave us lunch menus after stating we'd be having afternoon tea. And as only 4 of us had arrived and the other 4 were parking the other car. The waitress asked if she could bring everything out now? I felt about rushed and the waitress had very poor attitude towards us. Table maintenance wasn't the best as everyone had finished their teas and it was on the table for 2 hours. I understand it got a bit busy but I could feel the stress from this waitress and it wasn't pleasent. The manager I don't remeber a name did look after us on the other hand and made sure we were okay. However for spending nearlly £200 and £20 service charge I wish I didn't bother. Sorry for this review, I can imagine it is probably an amazing place. But I was let down by my experience."

"on entrance its so grand, it appears to be quite posh but its just a wonderful environment to enjoy great food and cake! we had an afternoon tea for two. The food was delicious. so well presented and appetising . we had some lovely strong tea. option to have two pots of tea or have a pot of tea and pot with hot water to dilute etc. the cakes are very well presented and look delicious! id love to try them all! Assistant manager could not be more helpful, kind and approachable. We had a nice little chat about the caffe and her role. We spoke about the food options and why we travelled so far for a nice treat with them. We felt really at ease. i was shocked at the small toilet thats quite dated and untidy. there are a couple of new members of staff that obviously have no experience and quite young so can be a little irritating dropping cutlery, shouting across the room, dismissive attitude, not much customer service going on etc but hopefully these people will learn on the job and soon be super staff members just like the assistant managers techniques! we will be visiting again!"

"Big disappointment booked for treat for friend. On arrival was told no booking so showed email confirmation. Ordered drink and food. Drinks came wrong drink sent back got correct order. Then food came I ordered carbonara when it came. Sauce seperated pool of butter in bottom. Bacon was just fat not pancetta. Waiter put Parmesan cheese on. Complained and sent back when it returned tasted disgusting. I’m sure they had just put in pan to reheat and add thickener tasted very salty and cheesy nothing like carbonara. Complained and sent back declined any other as my friend by this time had eaten her food. After then sitting for 25 mins waiter came offered a drink on house which they agin got wrong!!! We were then presented with bill my food had been removed but a 12.5% service charge had been added. To which I asked to be removed. The side dish of garlic bread which I had not eaten had also been charged. Overall dissatisfaction with quality and lack of customer service. Venue and location does not excuse awful service and quality. Won’t be revisiting."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Having purchased cakes in the caffe several times when staying in London I felt sure that afternoon tea there would be something special but sadly I was mistaken, they didn't seem to have any idea about my booking and we were sat at the back of the caffe, service took forever and when it arrived we were sadly disappointed, the tea was served in a tiny pot and it took me attempts to get some boiling water to top it up with, the sandwiches were mediocre with fillings not to our taste and the cakes were more like little deserts and extremely sickly, this was accompanied by quite dry scones but as we'd not had lunch we were both quite hungry so ate these, as neither of us could manage the rather sickly desert type cakes at the time we decided to take them with us rather than leave them as the afternoon tea wasn't cheap, this took a very long time to get organised and we had to chase the waiters several times before they finally arrived back with us in a takeaway container. The whole experience was that of organised chaos and having paid the bill as was part of an anniversary treat for my partner I felt ripped off. We would never go there again for tea and I will go back to buying the odd nice cake from there as and when I am in London"

"When we arrived punctually, we were greeted in a very friendly manner with the words "RESERVATION?" Equipped with the OpenTable reservation confirmation, I made it clear that I have made reservations for people in my name. After a quick glance at her rancid notebook, the waitress wanted to end the conversation with the words "No, sorry." After I again held the confirmation in front of her nose, came another sorry, you could not do anything before she fled to the cane. Then a gentleman accompanied us to the door. "Use to be an advocate for this brand and tell everyone how good their cakes are. But this company went down the hill some time ago, i came some time ago and wasn’t amazed by their desserts as I usually am I realised they changed their nice takeout bags to these cheap yellow bags that was a sign. Came in today to take out saffron and Napoleon cake both were SOUR and OLD, it did not taste fresh at all. With you cutting corners on the quality (changing for cheap bags, keeping cakes out for longer than they should and making them worse quality) you are cutting on your loyal clientele. In the past I always ordered my birthday cakes from Leto religiously, never again. Such a disappointment."

"Disappointing. We've eaten at Bumpkin (Westfield Stratford) previously. It's one of the few places there at which there is a pleasant atmosphere, a comfortable environment, and where the background noise is low enough to allow conversation at normal speech level. The food is unexceptional, but usually good. We were not in any hurry, but on this occasion the service was very slow and, if I thought it likely to be as poor as it was, I would be disinclined to return. "I must admit, I’d just waited over 15 minutes without having been acknowledged along with the table next to me at a restaurant. We’d all left and I decided to go next door! Award for best gastropub, I lucked out? The pub was about 80% full, and several tables hadn’t been cleared. Nice layout with ample bar, looking a bit sparse but in a mid century way…cozy small round tables for two and/or more and courteous staff who indicated to me that I had to wait for the maître d’ to return. This man asked me if I minded sitting at the bar but only for one minute if I could give him time to prepare a table. Of course I said yes. He was scrambling to clear and set up tables, and seemed to be the only one on the floor except for a bartender and another gentleman…busy at a computer. He seated a young family who had been waiting, and then continued to clear more tables. Several minutes later, a couple arrived and they were immediately given a table. The single white haired lady got up, and wished the maître d’ a pleasant afternoon and left. Two horrible experiences one after another. What’s happened to polite and courteous… and equitable service in London?? ..not dictated by what you think will be less revenue from a senior lady than a couple… News flash to all you maitre d’s and waitstaff who might think that way: the demographic that has the most discretionary travel income?? Single females and those over 50 start enjoying their hard earned money a bit earlier…. Every customer deserve fair and respectful treatment."

"I have used thefork postings for afternoon tea for many occasions, this time I also booked (caffe concerto) intention was for afternoon tea. However, when we went to the restaurant, they said that the ones we booked the place was 3 minutes further on the road, not this. when we arrived at the right place, I show them the bookings on my phone, they said oh his only normal booking, nothing special. on the menu on the afternoon tee section, there was no price range from what thefork had advertised, so we decided to go for the stock pasta selection instead. the whole idea of going there was looking forward to the afternoon tee. that has disappointed us. the pasta was in order, then we wanted to try the chocolate meal, that was most disappointed, the chocolate sauce was on the outside, instead of being in the middle, the sponge was a bit gummy. all in all we spent almost 90 pounds for a lunch. I'm sure I could eat better and get a better one if we had it in harrods. Yes, everything we felt was disappointed. only the girl served us was amazing."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and found it to be rather small, but with amazing decor and service. The food selection was lovely and reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken and waffles, cheesy fries, and Mac and cheese. The Belgian waffles were too sweet for my liking, so I couldn't finish them. The chicken, fries, and Mac and cheese were delicious. I would definitely return to try a different branch (as this one is far from me) and explore more options on the menu, maybe the all day breakfast."
