"I had put special instruction in the booking for a good table and good service as I had a special guest with me. What we got was far from good! The waiters were abrupt/border line rude The starts came as we had just started our cocktails even though we told them to hold the food till we finish drinks first. Then mail course arrived cold and no one checked with us if the food was good or we needed anything. Half way through the main course, another waiter started putting tea cups and tea pots on our table! He mistook us with another table but didn't even look to see we are still eating our meal! I expected more from this restaurant.... May try it one more time to give them benefit of doubt and before I recommend it to others"

So we came here because a magazine (possibly time out or ES) had listed it as having the best tiramisu in London.__Ambience was very smart and sophisticated

Food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has done a good job of spacing out tables to make it seem secure. Having called ahead of time to ask if wait staff would be wearing masks, it was disconcerting to see wait staff approach the table and come close to us with masks below their noses and even below their mouths. Food was very good the scallops and carbonara in particular. Nice setting as well. Only let down was the service, where we were largely left unattended for long periods of time, and when we asked to order at various stages there seemed to be confusion over who could do that. When raised with the manager this was dealt with for the most part, but still disappointing overall given how nice the food was.

Took too long to be seated. Told us to stand in the bar with nowhere to stand. Sat us next to a very noisy function room⦠told us âitâs ok, the doors will be closedâ. The doors were constantly being opened all night. Wine list⦠so many missing wines. Food service was pretty slow, but the food was wonderful when it arrived. Could have done with the waiters not slamming it in front of you at the speed of light though. Overall, the very poor service and noisy ambience wasnât worth the price.
