"at the first visit for us we will return definitiw. you can say at the moment when you go that this food is good by the amount of people there, although that is said that there is more than enough space with the tables well designed. we were shown by the waiting staff on our table and the menus offered, we chose our drinks meals that were soon with us. we had both eaten the truthahn on Sunday, which was perfectly cooked torth hot. then we both had a dessert that was once again excellent. both our drinks, meal desserts came to less than £45, which I am very good for. we will certainly return, we would highly recommend the britannia for a high quality good meal served by excellent employees in a beautiful environment."

Food was good but staff were very slow. I think possibly short of staff as one waitress hardly managed to leave the front door for customers coming in. Super busy. Food was quick to arrive though and tasty. Bar man was efficient.

A fantastic treasure outside of Northampton, looks like a venue and a great culinary experience. The staff is really friendly and professional, it is a large menu and what we tasted. You have a good drink area and should have something for everyone. Can recommend and cannot wait to return. View menu

The food was lovely, especially the fudge brownie. Staff were friendly enough but 1 buggered up 2 food orders while I was there and she also came over to offer a sweet menu, went away and didn't come back so another server took over thankfully. Would've given 4 stars if the ladies toilets didn't smell of mould and sewage. Overall good but won't be back.

Great dog friendly pub but they've just stopped serving doggy ice cream! The kids chicken burger was very chewy and made up of e to 4 paper-thin slices of chicken deep fried, no sauce, just bun. Desserts were amazing, I had the mocha torte and sticky toffee pudding. Owner was lovely and came for a chat. Chef and Brewer need to look at bringing back the doggy ice cream and making the kids menu better

As soon as I pulled into the spacious parking lot, I had a good feeling about this restaurant. I was not disappointed. Upon entering, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff immediately informed us that it was a dog-friendly establishment. The cozy decor, a crackling open fire, and the simple layout made me feel at home. The incredibly friendly staff, especially our server, made me feel like I was dining with family. The food was exceptional. I ordered the filet steak, which was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were just right. Overall, a superb dining experience. View menu

I had a feeling when I moved into the massive parking lot with lots of space that this would be a great experience. I wasn't disappointed when you came in, feeling in a friendly, friendly place. You will be notified immediately, this is his dog friendly bar, dear. People often don't like to ask themselves, it doesn't need anything here. The beautiful decor, open fire and simple layout lets you feel welcome, and the very friendly staff, especially Sam, makes you feel that you eat with family. And as if it wasn't enough, the food was just great. I had the filet steak that was cooked for perfection, and the portion sizes were perfect!

At the first visit for us we will definitely return. "I had the pleasure of visiting La Terraza Tapas Bar in Upton with my kids, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was incredibly cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a family outing. The friendly staff added to the welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the tapas selection. The steak with chimichurri sauce was a burst of flavors that left us craving for more, and the Tempura prawns were simply delectable. It's clear that the chefs here take pride in their creations, as every dish we tried was a delightful journey for the taste buds. As a first-time visitor, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience, and I can confidently say it won't be our last visit. While the prices leaned slightly towards the expensive side, the quality of the food and the cozy ambiance more than made up for it. La Terraza Tapas Bar strikes the perfect balance between a gourmet dining experience and a comfortable family outing. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant, which is always an important factor for me when choosing a place to dine. All in all, La Terraza Tapas Bar offers a fantastic option for a memorable lunch with family or friends. If you're looking for a place that combines delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and a touch of elegance, this is definitely a spot worth considering. AKASAKA Japanese

AKASAKA Japanese

"I wondered why this restaurant described itself on the board outside as ‘fusion’, why there were so many Korean dishes on the menu and why the serving staff have heard of Asahi beer but haven’t heard of The Asahi Shimbun, a Japanese daily newspaper that is at least 50 years old. The answer is that the Akasaka website isn’t being completely honest when it describes their Northampton branch as a Japanese restaurant. They aren’t really Japanese, although some of their menu items are clearly Japanese. Don’t let that put you off, however, as they are serving excellent food and we enjoyed our meal there very much. It cost us about £70 (inc. 10% tip) for our meal for two people including a 175ml glass of Sauvignon Blanc for my lovely wife and two 330ml bottles of Asahi Dry for me. The sushi was excellent, the edamame beans were great but we didn’t feel that the Dolsot Bibimbap (a Korean dish with loads of rice, some shredded vegetables, prawns and a fried egg on top) offered very good value for money at just under sixteen pounds. We would recommend Akasaka in Northampton and would certainly go there again, but if we want a genuinely Japanese meal, prepared and served by Japanese staff, then we will be sticking to Ginza Restaurant on Wellingborough Road in Northampton. Don’t like the way that the male members of staff at Sakura on Bridge Street speak to their female colleagues, very disrespectful, so we avoid that Japanese restaurant nowadays. Great to have a choice of three Japanese restaurants in Northampton post-pandemic, and our favourite of the three is Ginza."
