I had an incredible Sunday lunch at The Bull! The portions were generous and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was both professional and fun. We will definitely be coming back. The landlady was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Cheers to all the staff!

We were 5 adults and 4children. We had the roast which was beef, pork and gammon served with roast potatoes, roast parsnips stuffing pigs in blankets Yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetables. Amazing pub, you don't feel awkward walking in as a non regular. Extremely friendly staff. Also has a wake there a year ago and it was better than we could ever imagine. Thank you to Michelle and the team. We joined our friends to watch the Rugby World Cup Final. We were all decked out in our Springbok [South African] supporters gear. It poured with rain outside, but it didn’t dampen our spirits. A wonderful evening down to the last minute, we had burgers and onions rings, they were lovely. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So glad we chose to have my dad's 50th birthday meal here!! The service from Michelle, liz and Simon was amazing for such a large table! They made sure everyone was happy with their food and kept us all topped up with drinks. If your’e walking from Croydon along the Vanguard Way as we were it is worth timing your walk to arrive here when it’s open. The full range of COVID measures are in effect although the staff are not wearing masks when they are the customer side of the bar which I think is a mistake. Other than than, the food is decent, a Caesar salad and a ploughman’s were good value and the Doombar was very well kept. We turned up on a sunday early afternoon without a booking and the staff were super helpful to offer us a place to sit. The main restaurant area looked fully booked. Sat towards the back we had starters and main and the food took quite a while to arrive. Overall: Very good tasting pie and good portion for the Sunday roast. However the time it took took the edge off our hunger and a bit of the heat off the roast! A superb place to eat! The service is always very professional and the staff are courteous and so friendly. An excellent menu and a good choice of food which is cooked to a very high standard and presented well. My friend and I look forward hugely to a meal here on a Sunday: it's like home from home. A very successful pub run by Ann and her lovely staff. They deserve to be praised. Three out of six of us ordered the Sunday Roast, and although all the food was fantastic, I have to say that this was the best roast dinner I have had locally in a long time. The food arrived about 20 minutes after ordering, even though we had expected a longer wait due to the restaurant being busy. The pork was cooked to perfection and was incredibly tender, with crispy potatoes and a variety of vegetables such as parsnips, carrots, broccoli, and cabbage. The meal also included delicious homemade Yorkshire puddings and gravy.
