"I had a great experience, just had coffee and a cake on route to Rugby. There were a lot of people who were already dining at 12.30 pm in the afternoon, so the food here must be good. The service was excellent, thanks Nearby activities: The bridle path is nearby, moat and hillock Brinklow castle walking distance. Coombe country park is a mile and a half away. The high street around the corner has olde worldly shops. Service: 5"

Excellent dining experience at this wonderful pub! The menu is diverse yet reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there’s plenty of parking available. The carvery is definitely a highlight and worth a visit. Overall, I rate the service and location both at 5 stars! View menu

fish and chips were in order, the kinder food was not good and the curry swimming in the fat! was offered an alternative, but we had to wait although not many customers in their. I noticed another table with a large group and it up to a long time to bring out their food. I appeared as if every minister was made and brought out so that you had to wait to eat your meal together

The food is wonderful , but omg the queuing is just ridiculous! By the time you have queued for your Sunday Carvery it's almost Monday! this alone puts you off. Shame as the food is good. Unfortunately had a bit of a laxidasical young man taking our order last time which didn't help the queuing as we could have gone up before if he had been a bit quicker. Service: 3 Location: 5
