"Hosted a baby shower here on a Sunday for my best friend. Jeanette was very accomodating and friendly, nothing was a problem. They're was plenty of food and great choices, the sausage rolls were to die for and lovely thick ham in the sandwiches. Everyone commented on the lemon drizzle cake and brownies and there was plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to go around. Jeanette also providing some lovely decorations and balloons. Thanks for a lovely afternoon!"

Unfortunately there were no vegan options so I couldn’t eat here. I had a fruit tea. I was hoping there may at least be an alternative milk. Shame because it’s a nice cafe

The food was decent, however, I wasn't a fan of the sausages. Some of the cups were a bit dirty. The service was slow - by the time the other couple's breakfasts were ready, my boyfriend and I had already finished all of our food.

This cafe is fantastic! It's perfect for all ages and even caters to little ones. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the service is great. I will definitely be coming back. The girls here should be very proud, as nothing is too much trouble.

Nice decor and menu. Staff were welcoming too. Great range of food for the kids too. Cakes looked great but we didn't get any. Very clean. Portion sizes were tiny though for the price thankfully we'd had a big breakfast so this was OK for us. No baby change in the toilet.

I stopped by this restaurant for a mocha coffee and a slice of caramel cake, and both were delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere as I sat by myself, watching people come in for their mid-morning snack and observing passersby on their way to the shops. It was a very pleasant place to be.

Cosy cafe with great cake especially like the sticky toffee and the sponge. Have also had breakfast here too which was nice. Accommodating for prams and babies (have highchairs) but no baby change. Always a treat to stop in here. Oh and it is cash only just in case you get caught out!

My friend and I visit weekly. Always a friendly welcome, quick service. We have tried many of the things on the menu, from cake to eggs benedict. Everything is always lovely quality They also do takeaway, which appears to be popular. The afternoon tea looks lovely Well worth a visit Seating inside and a few tables outside

I have been here a few times and usually it’s a great place to go. However after waiting a long time for my food, they had got the order wrong. My partner had the veggie breakfast and his hash browns were swimming in grease and he had tomatoes missing. I don’t mind paying more for food but not when the service is terrible and the quality is not good enough. I asked for a refund and I won’t be returning.

"Wow. The the quirky situation is a fabulous first impression. The friendly greeting made us feel so welcome. The attention to hygiene and protection made us feel safe. The self explanatory simple online ordering system was fun with the opportunity to personalise your order where...possible. The service was kind, thorough and knowledgeable. The food was flavoursome, fresh and inventive. I’m a vegetarian- in a burger place and enjoyed my choices. This is by far not my first visit here. They do change things up and keep it interesting. I was with my 12 year old child and partner on a spontaneous trip after the cinema. It was the perfect fit for a grown up and fun occasion. I requested a surprise cocktail as my second drink. Mr Tim Garratt completely blew my mind. He is an expert professional craftsman mixologist extraordinaire. I don’t know this but think he reviewed my previous cocktail to give him and indication of my taste. In a shake a mysterious mesmerising delicate pink coloured cocktail in the perfect glass encased in a mystical bubble was presented to me. I was hypnotised. When the bubble burst it was the beginning not the end of this exotic experience. The fragrance was intriguing, a mist swirled out of the glass towards me. The temperature was perfectly cool and inviting. The taste was idyllic. Subtle, refreshing, delicate, alive and the best drink I have ever ever tasted. I didn’t savour it, I lived it and loved it and it was gone so quickly. I instantly ordered another. This cocktail was a grapefruit and cucumber daiquiri. To me there’s nothing finer. All 3 of us had a memorable experience and exciting different brave flavours. Everything about Slider Town Loughborough @slidertownloughbouough is individual and excellent. By the way it is bizarre coincidence that we share the same last name. I have no connection to anyone @slidertownloughborough but would be happy to!"
