Fantastic pub and great tasting food. Lovely staff. Great portions of food. Good value of money. Especially children meals

Mainly ales but there are few craft beer taps. Great food serving in dedicated dining area. There is nice garden area up the hill too.

Fantastic pub with hidden upstairs seating. Really kind and friendly staff. Drinks are good. I'm definitely going back for food. Great to go early in the week before it get packed. Good for friends and family to enjoy. Great ambience and decor.

This is the first time me and my family went for dinner at this pub. My mum had the fish and chips, my sister had the nut roast and myself had the pork roast. The only complaint I have was that the portions were too big as I was unable to have dessert.

This is a lovely social place, keeping a traditional feel of an English pub and adding a modern Mediterranean style of an outdoor space. Their fish and chips came highly recommended, which was what I had and it deserves a thumbs up. Don't forget to order an apple crumble and coffee for desert! View menu

Local easy access. The menu is limited but that was fine as it still provided good choice including a vegetarian option, on the day. It is excellently cooked and well presented dishes and full of flavour. Bery enjoyable. The service needs to improve with attentiveness and detail. Aside from this it was good. The desserts were excellent

Very dog friendly pub with the best Sunday roast and extremely friendly staff (10 months ago). Revisited this pub today. We sat on the terrace this time. The plates of food looked bigger than last time. I had the best roast beef 3 large slices of tender beef. The apple sauce went well with roast pork. Although fish and chips was a bit pricey, the fish tasted very good even without tartar sauce.

Came in a Sunday afternoon, glad we booked and it was bustling. The staff were really friendly and attentive, I had the roast beef which was lovely and pink. My partner had the pork roast and although the crackling was good the pork was quite dry. The roast vegetables were nice. Nice beer and ale selection, would recommend coming and booking. There's also a lovely outdoor seating upstairs with a view in the summer. View menu
