I'm irish, so tipping after being served beer at the bar makes no sense, I expect your employer to be paying you a fair wage. This is on the owner/manager, not the issue with the bartenders. I do however tip if you are very kind and go out of your way to do something without me having to ask, but I don't ever expect that from a bartender, especially when it's busy. During our vacation, my family and I visited this restaurant multiple times for breakfast and quick tea/coffee to go. Every visit, we were greeted with excellent service and a tasty meal. Everything is made from scratch! The staff is incredibly friendly.

We enjoyed breakfast at the Salt Cellar three times on our recent trip to Dublin, after returning from Italy. The cappuccinos were exceptional, surpassing any we had during our time in Italy. Eva would make them to our liking, whether dry or wet. The breakfasts were also delicious, with farm-fresh eggs, avocado, and cheese toasties.
