"I visited The Cotswold Arms as part of a large group on our way home from Cheltenham races on St Patricks Day, this has been an annual event for us for years apart from last year when racing was cancelled so we were all delighted...to be back and receive the usual warm welcome on arrival from Kizzy and the team, myself and two others had reserved a table for a meal so on arrival our table was ready in their busy restaurant. We all opted for the steak and ale pie with chips and peas which was served promptly and was delicious. After our meal we joined the rest of the punters for a bit of Craic agus Ceol in the bar where a one man band and a few of our talented performers made sure everyone had a lively and entertaining evening. Thank you all for a very enjoyable evening, we are already looking forward to calling again during Cheltenham 2023."

clearly deorganized low on the staff several teller had to be 3rd or 4th choice, as they run out of most articles on the menu and it was a Friday!

Lovely traditional pub with friendly staff and a log fire to welcome you. Had the cooked breakfast and vegetarian breakfast lovely hash browns, decent bread and sausages and plentiful for a reasonable price. The lunches coming out of the kitchen looked good. Newly refurbished...toilets. Worth a visit.

we arrived at burford quite late in the evening and that was the only facility that was willing to leave her to serve us food! the personal was so good for us and eating was brilliant. we had Steak-Ale-Pie, chips and chili with rice, both beautiful. this place has made our night in burford a great! thank you. Booked a table for lunch and arrived 25mins early, were told to go away even though they had empty tables. When we came back the table we wanted was still empty . Ordered a gluten free meal from the menu from the 2 options available..., steak , chips and onion rings, only to be told the chips and onion rings were not gluten free ,only the steak . Pretty pointless listing this as a gluten free meal. We left and went to the Angel instead which was a vast improvement all round.

on Eastermonday with my daughter. she had a nice fish and chips. I ordered a Cajun chicken burgergf. when it came out, I checked twice everything was gf the Burger-Back, but not the fries. it was said that pommes were, but they. use the same frit as not gf (so not safe for zöliakie). then they kindly said they would make me back. they had from gf bungalows si had a jacket kartoffel with which I was absolutely good. even it came out, the cctual hühnerburger was like warm and bright pink inside. at this point I only ate the kartoffel and went. the front of the house staff was beautiful and very knowledgeable, how ashamed the kitchen staff were not knowledgeable. finweis not safe for coeliac. a...
