"the cross keys is a pleasantly clean and tidy device. the menu is diverse if not exciting typical for a large chain brewers fair.) I had praised and avocado starter, very nice praised cocktail little shy on avocado. I had the filet of heke porn like my wife, very well cooked, except for a problem, both my wife and I pulled 6 bones out of our hake. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he said he would tell the cook, on his return he told me that the cook apologises, but he didn't fill the fish, so it happened so it wasn't his fault. first, the cook is responsible for everything that comes from his kitchen, regardless of where and who delivered the products. if he can't be harassed, bone-making, it seems to be a real shame to spoil what a good meal could be only for the lack of effort."

Popped in for a late lunch, was a bit apprehensive because of bad food and service before it got refurbished. Staff were helpful, polite, food was amazing! Will def be returning!

I ate so fast, I couldn't take a photo! BBQ Burger was first class. Our server Jamie was incredibly attentive. Lovely atmosphere, will be back in the summer to enjoy the massive garden

today on the way back to the autobahn for a Sunday roast, in front of booked table arrived early and they used to fit us as booked. it was quite busy and our waiting time was ok for the crowds eating. eating was nice and pudding was also good. friendly staff and place looked great. visit us again

has taken mama and a friend to birthday dinner and enjoyed it. the lunch menu is very good with the additional bonus of £3 start and desserts. three meals, 3 drinks two coffees and pud were £35. very good socially removed, simple free parking in front of the door, and the sweetest staff. ignore the rude reviews and try it yourself.

After reading some of the last reviews, I was a bit tangible about the table I had booked for our family Christmas together. the food was great, the staff was nice. there were slight confusion over a few commands, maybe my fault, but they were immediately corrected without any guess. perfect, and we all had a nice time. I will go back soon

We went to the Cross Keys for Sunday lunch yesterday and have been here on many occasions for food and have in the main, never been disappointed! Well, yesterdays lunch was absolutely FANTASTIC and possibly the best Sunday lunch I’d ever had there. I had the trio and my wife the beef. Everything was cooked to perfection and was all hot. The service was also brilliant, the team members led by Sarah, all smiling and in my opinion genuinely enjoying their job. Well done team Cross Keys
