"Nice bar area, small bar type dinning area then there is a large restaurant. Met up with a friend and uses the vintage inn voucher which made the main meal great value for money. Service was good, prices reasonable, food good, I had the rib eye steak which was tender and juicy. I would go back and eat there again or just pop in for a coffee."

cozy environment, good ambiente and excellent service helped make this a good culinary experience. eating was in order for many red paprika on the pizza and boiled vegetables with my fish cake.

My chips were cold and we wasn't asked if we wanted any more drinks which was a shame as we would have ordered at least 3 more drinks. Apart from this the atmosphere was good, the food arrived quickly and staff polite and friendly.

Ate there in winter so cant comment on summer period. Fish and chips were delicious. Korean bbq sauce also delicious. Service fantastic despite a 50th and 60th bday party going on concurrently. Great outside area with lovely outlook on the river next to great walking path. Definitely recommend.

cunning man was earlier a restaurant we visited as a family, then it was really bad, so we stopped going for a few years. we risked as late moms day dinner and were so pleasantly surprised- it was amazing- eating was great, service was great, although it was really busy. will go more frequently:

Really enjoyed our meal at the cunning man, the waitress was very kind and helpful our only disappointment was that the restaurant had run out of Camembert, so sadly no starters were ordered. We even used our AA discount card, which helped a lot towards the bill. Will definitely be going again soon. Well done. Very efficient team!
