Waiting staff knew the menu and made recommendations if needed. From ordering to table was relativly quick. The food was well presented hot fresh and very tasty. The whole ambience of this establishment was spot on. Would recommend booking as usually busy. A great place for a great meal."

We booked for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. Whenever we come from Oxford to visit my sister who lives in Christchurch we always have at least one meal in The Curlew and we always enjoy our meals.

The restaurant has a lovely garden for outdoor dining, but the furniture looks worn and could use a good cleaning. There are no pillows, and it seems like the staff is very busy. However, it's a good option for a budget-friendly lunch.

We were a party of seven four adults and three children. The children were very well treated and made very welcome. The menu offered a good choice both adult and children, and we all had a good meal all in all a good day I can recommend The Curlew.
