"We recently stayed at the nearby Travelodge for 5 nights and had Breakfast here just about every morning because it was so good. It's around a 5 minute walk from Travelodge on the way into Town. Food was always excellent, freshly prepared and really good value for money. The Cafe is maintained to the highest standards and the lady owner obviously takes great pride in her establishment which again makes it a really good place to visit. It's one of those lovely little neighbourhood places where you're made to feel really wellcome from the moment you step through the door. We also found the lady owner invaluable as a source of tourist information dispensing facts figures about Kings Lynn with absloute ease. We would'nt hesitate to visit again will certainly do so next time we're in Kings Lynn. Absolutely brilliant all cafes should be like this.. the world would be a much better place for it. !!"

Stopped here with some of my family primarily because it is dog friendly. We ordered a variety of sandwiches/baguettes and they were served promptly by friendly owner/staff Prices very reasonable

Useful place to pop into for a coffee or a snack. What a success this place has been: so glad that it has settled in. Freshly prepared food from quite an extensive menu. Friendly service and very well presented venue. Well done. I hope to visit again soon.

Lovely little gem, stopped here for breakfast whilst on a few days away. Lovely owner, lovely food. Nice customers, Steve a regular there was lovely to chat too, both him and the owner told us all about the place and where to visit. Couldn't fault a thing, the cafe was so quirky loved it. Stopped here on the way into town. The nearby Travelodge has no restaurant and the Hungry Horse doesn't open till ten. Made to feel very welcome. Choices are made from the boards on the wall not a set menu card. Very fair prices and nothing was too much trouble. Will call in again when visiting this area.

The Daily Grind has everything you could want from amazing cakes, sausage rolls, sandwiches, salads, soups and comfort food dinners. The coffee is amazing too! Everything is homemade and delicious. The owner is so friendly and really accommodating especially with children, my boys rarely pick off the menu! This place is a little gem and if you've not visited you really should give it a try!

"We had pre-booked a table for 6 people to have lunch at 2:15pm. We arrived on time and were shown to the table, which had only been set for 4 people which meant we had to pull a further 2 chairs up to the table, and had to request a wine list. We ordered a round of drinks for the table which took c. 15 minutes to arrive. We were waiting a considerable amount of time for a food menu. Eventually we called a waiter over to order some food and were told that the kitchen we no longer serving, despite having booked a table for lunch and not being warned of the kitchen closing time. The staff told us to be quick in ordering however took a further 10 minutes to come and take the order. The food eventually came and the waitress didn 't even put the food at the correct place, she merely put them on the table for us to distribute accordingly. When the bill eventually came, we politely requested the *optional service charge was removed from the bill as we did not feel that we had received adequate service to warrant a tip, to which the manager began shouting that it as shocking that we wanted to rightfully remove the tip. He went on to say that the kitchen staff had stayed over time to prepare our food. My question to the owner is this... if your chefs are unwilling to work over their hours, why are you offering a reservation close to closing time whilst your staff are incapable of processing the orders to the kitchens in the correct timescale and working hours. If we were told that the kitchen were closing soon, we would have cooperated with the staff to help them work to their time scales."
