The food at this pub is truly delightful and the setting is very nice. They currently offer half price vegan food on Mondays.

Popped in for a brunch, chose the Cauli Starter glass from Fizz! Henry reminded me! Beautiful roaring fire, as it was a bitter cold day with snowfall! Really great place! Updated by previous rating on 2022-02-23

Pleasantly surprised by the amount of options in this pub. They also do 50% of veggie and vegan meals on Monday. I had the banana blossom 'fish', chips, muddy peas with tartaric acid sauce with a side part of fricklebacks

Not great for vegans. Vegan fish and chips came with a calamari stuck to the batter!! Manager apologised and said they’d make it up to us, not heard anything. Vegan food should not be prepared nor cooked it’s non vegan food.

I stopped by for brunch and decided to start with the Cauliflower Starter and a glass of champagne. Henry recognized me and the atmosphere was cozy with a roaring fire, which was perfect for the bitter cold day with snow flurries. It's a really fantastic place!

Really delicious roast dinner on a Sunday that was so delicious! The food was delicious. We decided to add the vegan cauliflower cheese, but this was forgotten on our order, these things happen no matter! They also made us a vegan children's roast, although it wasn't usually that was really nice! I was too full of pudding needs back!

Well, quite a way from home, Eastbourne to attend a wedding and have a week's holiday. We were in this pub on Sunday for a drink and decided on having a meal there tonight. I had an excellent steak n mushroom pie and my partner had beefburger and chips . I have to give the food 10/10 . It was very good and very hot . It's a little off the seafront but well worth a visit for their home cooked food and friendly staff. Five stars
